Review Time: this
project is good.
Fundamental elements: there are voice-over elements, background music, a number
or numbers with words on screen [this was tiny so I could be wrong about this;
but this is no big deal,] cultural elements, mental imagery, yes and no to
subtitles being used when another language is being used, time jumps and place
jumps.
This
is one of those titles that isn't slow, but it isn't the most quickest either,
let's just say it moves with purpose, understanding and an identity to what is
happening in and around or nearby this hotel.
Storyline: now usually or more often than not I wouldn't be happy or
critical at the very least with the ending style of this project, but in this
case it makes sense, from this perspective this film is good; but it is strange
so why not have an ending like this, that kind of thing [this will make better
sense when or if you choose to watch this title or not,] but in short without
giving too much away to have a solid or a completed ending wouldn't fit in with
this project.
Action sequences: there are weapons being used and combat elements, these
elements or scenes or sequences are fitting for this time frame and landscape
or landscapes.
Character developments/Performances: yes the violence is important, but the character
developments/Performances are more important, based on my opinion when
individually or when these characters come together in different numbers, the
viewers can quickly identify who they are [such as things like their standing
within this crumbling society/broken society and many other things,] so the
audience should be able to pick up on the friction/chemistry between these
characters/performers straightaway or early on, so all the performances are
good.
This film receives: 7/10, as I have already said this film is good and if you
are into strange films, give this one a look.
