The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor by AverageMansReviews

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this sequel is mixed and when I say mixed, I mean it just does have to get itself into the mixed bracket.

Fundamental elements: there are cultural elements, voice-over elements, with and without subtitles being used [including I think sometimes the subtitles clashing with the scene underneath them,] an interpreter element, a word or words with numbers on screen, background music, slow-motion effects, time jumps and place jumps.

Action sequences: these elements give this sequel value there are weapons being used, combat sequences, chasing sequences [for one example some of our characters used this firework as this kind of rocket launcher] and there are these booby-traps which have been well put together and have imagination to them as well [this is just a rough selection of bits and pieces you can see in this title.]

Comedy level: I have two examples of the comedy level to talk about, in a nutshell the plane sequence and it being a rough ride, the second is where we have these two Yetti's, where the first one kicks this individual through this up-right [you will have to use your imagination for this up-right, but in fairness it shouldn't take too much imagination to work this out] and the second one situated behind the first one [on this roof] the first one looks around at the second, the second one gives the signal that the Field-Goal attempt is good [a reference to the NFL National Football League,] this is just a rough outline of this comedy element.

Performances: generally speaking they are poor.

This film receives: 4/10, now yes as I have clearly pointed out there are some good elements to this project including this one sequence where this crystal thing is opened and the viewers see this little opening sequence where these little snakes move and so on and so forth, but having said all this; I did find this film title to be boring for I think it is safe to say heavy amounts or decent size chunks of this sequel [on a quick side note I may have or not got the no subtitles bit wrong so all I can do is apologize, but I am sure I got bored with this sequel nonetheless.
