Lovewrecked 2005/2007 [alternative name Love Wrecked] by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this title is poor, I am already forgetting little bits and pieces about it [and on dictating this review it has only been a short amount of time, maybe something like two hours or more or less than,] in a nutshell I think it is safe to say this film will not stay in my memory for too long.

Fundamental elements: there are cultural elements, background music including singing and music concert [gig elements,] slow-motion effects, I could be wrong about this but I think there is one element where another language is used and there are no subtitles [but in fairness and balance it is just one element,] time jumps and place jumps.

Storyline/Character developments/Performances: now usually I wouldn't be this straight to the point, but this storyline is terrible, I mean the only thing of decent substance is where we have this male character that has these feelings for the lead female character and he has had these feelings for some time now, just for the record yes on reflection these storyline elements are cheesy, but then again I would have preferred to see more of these storyline elements, then the main storyline. The character developments other than the one I have just been discussing and the younger male African-American that seems to say mostly the wrong things most of the time, well simply put the character developments for the other characters generally speaking are poor. But slightly moving on now to the performances what can I really say; these are poor as well.

Comedy level/Action sequences: I liked the Sea lion sequence, the two mobile telephones sequence, where briefly one character hands these two mobile telephones to another character and says it is your wife on line 1 [on one mobile telephone] and it is your girlfriend on line 2 [on the other mobile telephone] and the character receiving these two mobile telephones, says something to the effect of they have just heard you say that. Now of what I can remember the final comedy element which [before I say this I don't know if by this point my brain completely turned into mush, but this lead character picks up this toy from possibly the hotel shop place or just a shop.] But whatever the case may be this toy makes bodily function sounds whenever the buttons are pressed, so it gets used in a scene. The water sequences are a mixed bag really, the dolphin or the underwater sequences where you can see fish or the Jet ski element, these give this project value, but then again the audience sees some scenes of catching or caught fish kind of it is depending where you are in this title; they are not funny or interesting and how could I forget we have a woman on woman fight sequence which is also not funny or interesting.

This film receives: 1/10, I am sure I am forgetting one element, but this is why I always say [yes I haven't said it for some time] this is why I only bring up some elements, so if I forget anything as long as it reflects a my marking it is not a big deal, I am aware that this title does have some elements which at the very least are workable to something more, but in my defence this title is hard work to watch.
