Review Time: well this film is a mixture of good bits and not so good bits for me, this film takes ages to get consistently fluent in everything it does, in a nutshell for the first 60 minutes or more this film is slow and disjointed, but after this time frame the project actually wakes up and begins to look like it knows what it is doing [just for the record yes absolutely I had to take a break or breaks at some point throughout watching this project.]

Wolverine/Prof.X./Magneto/Mystique/Grey/Storm
/Nightcrawler/Stryker: this may look like a long list, but I did this for a very specific reason; these are the characters which firstly this film focuses on at some point, secondly their performances are amazing, how the performers perform their characters to a high standard, in some cases you can see why some of these performers came back to do other film titles as it relates to this franchise, their reincarnations of these characters are reliably performed to a high standard as I have already said and not only that reliably adapted throughout the years and finally the other characters in this project are there [in the film,] but their storylines are like; "So what can we get back to the bigger and better storyline now please?"

Action sequences/Special-effects: these elements or scenes I can take them or leave them really, some of them fit into this title such as any of Mystique's scenes [or some of the other characters in a nutshell as long as the scene is something smart and it shows off a little bit of the character's abilities I am happy with that.]

I have just noticed something, whilst dictating this review and I cannot believe it has taken me this amount of time as in the amount of years to realize this; the list of characters names I have used in this review; well how can I put this nicely for those characters that have special gifts, they really did get taken care of as it relates to everything including in this case special-effects, whilst the characters off this list whenever they use their gifts, the special-effects looks really clumsy and nothing special or if it is a returning character nothing has been majorly adapted to show that they have grown with their gifts.

This film receives: 60% approval, when this film eventually gets going properly, it can be enjoyable. But it does depend if you are willing to sit there for at least an hour or there or thereabouts.
