Review Time: this film is excellent, yes to begin with the storyline may seem straightforward, but I have no problems with any project that takes a basic idea or in this case a basic storyline and adapts it slightly and then builds on it.

Cast/Comedy flavours: this cast [voices] and their characters have been well assembled as these characters [visually] should have these kinds of voices coming out of them [if they were real,] for an example Corporal Weaver voiced by Sylvester Stallone, when you come across this character, he is well-built so it is possible he could have had a voice like Sylvester Stallone in reality.

The comedy flavours have been also smartly built into these characters personality traits as our lead character is always talking and consequently talking himself into a situation which he didn't want to be involved in the first place or just being in the wrong place at the wrong time or this character just being himself [usually brings some kind of problem,] generally speaking the comedy flavours have also been built into this project in different landscapes and in different situations, now to give you one example of what I mean on both counts there is this one sequence, where our lead role really does drop this massive ball, it shows an element of his personality and the great imagination which this sequence has, but not only that but what this film has in store to offer its audiences throughout this adventure.

Artistic visions: now as it relates to the computer animation, it still looks great but to be kind as it relates to the small details such as facial movements for an example, these are looking a little bit slow and sticky [they are still good,] but age waits for no one be you woman or man or in this case computer animation.

But it has to be said; the bigger the item in a sequence such as a picnic or wherever there is food [from our characters perspectives,] the less age has affected them, so at some point the audience will get to see some really interesting locations and artistic visions which as I have already said still look great and highly engaging even in 2017 [when this review was dictated.]

This film receives: 90% approval, this project has a very good idea of what it is doing from beginning to end, but [without giving too much away I have always been under the impression that the ending is and was a little bit cheesy, they should have really came up with something with a better rounded finish to it.
