He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 3] Episode 15: A
Beastly Sideshow by AverageMansReviews
Review Time: this episode is really, really slow [so much so
the opening section to this episode is boring.]
Snake Mountain: now every aspect around this location is
interesting, entertaining and the episode actually wakes up as soon as we see
or do anything in this landscape on a consistent basis. The artistic flavours
are intimidating and beautifully designed to show off different areas of Snake
Mountain.
He-Man/Cringer/Battle Cat: whilst we are in this location, these
three characters share some good sequences, including dialogue exchanges and
action-packed sequences, how can I put this; it makes a pleasant change to see
Cringer getting a little bit more involved in this episode than he normally
does in other episodes [do I really have to point out that Cringer and Battle
Cat don't share any dialogue exchanges because they are the same creature, in a
nutshell one has a soft nature whilst the other is very much up for a battle.]
But if I have to, I just made that point crystal clear.
Ending message: is something to the effect of having the courage to
say No
This episode receives: 60% approval, I have to highlight at
some point Skeletor puts in a good showing, when he is actually physically on
screen [like I said in any review I wouldn't tell you all the good bits or the
bad bits.] But to be fair there was a point in this episode, where the
percentage of approval was looking like maybe 12%, so taking everything into
consideration 60% looks and feels just about right.
