Recommendation of: NXT Halloween Havoc 2024 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful/adult language references/medical/blood

Oba Femi vs. The D'Angelo Family's: Tony D’Angelo [with Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Luca Crusifino & Adriana Rizzo;] Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal: Tables, Ladders, and Scares Match for the NXT North American Championship, The match can only be won by pinfall: in one way or another the surrounding content will be reflected in my mark; for the match itself is as you would expect it to be hard-hitting brutality with a reliable match/match slot outlay. This match/match slot receives: 8/10.

The NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade vs. Giulia & Stephanie Vaquer; Tag Team Match: excellent match slot, but it has to be said that anyone that watches a lot of wrestling would know, there is a massive difference between manufactured superstars and women wrestlers doing the wrestling and it really does show here; where Giulia and Vaquer individually or together; they look and feel very cognitive wrestlers as their individual skill sets are very high and if it should happen that something doesn't go according to plan; they would fluently adept to the circumstances. I get why they are on this brand to begin with, but when they get to face the likes of Ripley or Bayley or Sky [I should just point out that these names in any order so it isn't anything personal;] this is where we can find out what these ladies are all about or even Zaria going head-to-head with either or both of these ladies at some point on this brand will be a marquee match or/and matches. But for everything that is holy can we please, please for the love of god get T. off commentary just whilst his protégé Perez; it is generally boring and relentless to hear him praise everything she does and there is surrounding content which will be reflected in my mark as well. This match/match slot receives: 9/10.

Chase University's: Andre Chase vs. Ridge Holland; Ambulance Match: what is Holland wearing on his head/face? It looks like a bad interpretation of The Fantastic Four's Ben Grimm/The Thing's head/face but instead of orange, it is brown, as you can tell I am not a fan and another thing I am not a fan of is T.'s commentary, I mean I know he is meant to be a heel right now to continue from the previous match slot, but man is so relentlessly boring, this match follows a standard outlay for what they want to achieve here and the surrounding content will also be reflected in my mark here. This match/match slot receives: 7/10.

Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, or Jazmyn Nyx vs. Champ Kelani Jordan; Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal: Spinner's Choice TBD match for the NXT Women's North American Championship: T. is boring as hell on commentary, this match goes as it is designed to go and the surrounding content does consequently give this match slot an extra mark. This match/match slot receives: 7/10.

Ethan Page vs. Champ Trick Williams; Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal: Devil's Playground Match for the NXT Championship: I really didn't like the pumpkin spots as they built this mean event to be something serious and hard-hitting, then they go and pull this garbage. Sometime later we have a genuine mistake by the referee; Derek Sanders: Page puts his foot on the ropes to stop the pinfall, but Sanders quickly realises that; that does not apply with these stipulations in place so he should have continued counting originally so that is what he does. But by then Page kicks out and then it gets discussed on commentary. I did find it funny when Joseph called out a rock bottom and then later on in the replay he said a booker end [which is basically the same move but made famous by two different wrestlers; Johnson a.k.a. The Rock and T. which is sitting right next to Joseph; it feels like he should have called out booker end first as T. is sitting right there.] The only reason that this match slot is getting what it is getting is because of the surrounding content. This match/match slot receives: 8/10.

The average mark of this pay-per-view is: 8/10, as you can see this event is broadly speaking clearly positive just on varying scales, but as everyone knows watching this brand; this is just there high average of ridiculously high standards.
