This is awful, so much so I really don't want to spend too much time on it: basically; Lara "Sprout" Croft [Younger: Maisy De Freitas/Teen: Emily Carey/Adult: Alicia Vikander:] an adult that chooses to live difficult life, over what needs to be done. But before doing that she gets a hunch to go and search for father Richard Croft [Dominic West:] he has been missing for some time as he went searching for Himiko's tomb.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 114 minutes film; is very much like the rest of it incredibly slow and boring as hell; to the point where I was beginning to fall asleep. I mean really what were they thinking with this reboot? The storyline is something yes safe and reliable of being an origin outlay, but this only really works; if there is an option at minimum of a sequel; but wait a minute incoming news; the sequel for this interpretation of this character has been cancelled and furthermore there will be another reboot. Come on! Really just leave this franchise alone for awhile and if you're wondering why does a sequel need to be at minimum an option? That is because they foolishly left things on a sequel must come out now at some point down the line, with a much better storyline to work with, but we will never know now, for those incredibly people out there that think I am clutching at straws; no they literally implied there will be a sequel with the style of conclusion to this film, so I am not making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Action/Art; when this film actually begins to consistently look like a Tomb Rader film would with the locations puzzle solving and how they look and everything to do with that; they are the positives of this film, the booby-traps including one occasion of slow motion effects doesn't do anything for me and the ending credits art is another positive.

Character developments and performances; wow on both cases they are either the bargain basement version of these character types and the performances are just bad [for the newcomers to my content I usually use the word poor and for consistent viewers of my content that should indicate how bad it is when I am calling it out and out just bad.] There was nothing other than what they should be in these performances; basically they are doing the bare minimum to the point where I am not sure how they got some of these nominees for these positive awards.

This film receives: 1/10, this film is poor: I have to be honest this film was not a joy to watch, I have no idea why they are making yet another reboot of this film franchise. The reason why this film has been given the marking of 1/10, is because yes this film has some positives to its name, but it is a very much a counterbalance thing. Yes somehow this film has awards accredited to its name 8 Nominees which includes Teen Choice Awards 2018 Teen Choice Awards Choice Movie Actress: Action Alicia Vikander and at the same award ceremony/event Choice Movie: Action
