Baking: we need this Baker Pappi/"The Baker" [Ron Perlman:] a military veteran that suffers from PTSD; he runs his own self titled bakery shop also with a vehicle as well; who basically has to look after his granddaughter that he hasn't met before in this; Delphi [Emma Ho:] she is a mute that is also a thief, she has been left in his protection after her dad/Pappi's  estranged Peter [Younger: Bodhi Eryou/Teen: Unknown/Adult: Joel David Moore:] he has just got to go and take care of some business and he will be right back. As without giving too much away there is Vic [Elias Koteas:] a chief henchman to his boss that he has now got to find who stole this product, Vic is also beginning to show long-term effects of this career choice as he is also showing signs of PTSD and possibly looking at retirement. Merchant [ Harvey Keitel:] the boss of Vic including putting pressure on him to get his product back for him.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 100 minutes film is straightforward, but it is a bit slow to begin it does take a little bit of time to get noticeably moving.

Character developments, comedy, art and performances: the character developments are reliably good versions of what they are meant to be, because of that are comedy bits and pieces feel well placed and likewise well executed. For one example; because Delphi has been pinching everyone else's bill money in this drive cafe her grandfather lets her pay the bill with the comment of something to the effect of you are good for it, later on he tells her this story about her father, pizza and mushrooms on pizza, where with this story we get mental imagery and other mental imagery in this film at other points; this is good. The performances of Perlman, Ho, Keitel and Koteas; they are the backbone and the driving force behind this film; they all bring it to the table. They should have individually or altogether got at least some nominees other than the ones that they have. Action; even when Perlman in 2022 [year of this film's release] being early into his 70's he is still look and has that presence; that he can and will when it is necessary to put foot to posterior as you will see plenty of it throughout this film.

This film receives: 6/10, this film is good; I would have given this film another mark, the slowness of this film, but it does get going as I have already referenced, it just stopped me from giving it and just after the first bit of ending credits we have one ending credit seen. This film has 4 Winners accredited to its name; all from the same award ceremony/event Garden State Film Festival 2023 Actor Award Best Actor - Feature Film Ron Perlman, Narrative Feature Nicholas Tabarrok William G. Santor Jason Jallet Jonathan Sobol, Best Supporting Actor Best Supporting Actor  - Feature Film Harvey Keitel and Best Supporting Actor Best Supporting Actor - Feature Film Samantha Kaine [as as Det. Petra Weintrager:] an honest and law-abiding detective trying to work out this ongoing case.
