The Wilson Heights gang, but they aren't working alone: had been on a crime spree in Captain Thaddeus Harris' precinct [G. W Bailey;] yes they finally gave him his very own precinct, but don't worry he still has Lieutenant Carl Proctor [Lance Kinsey] by his side; as are on a stakeout waiting for this criminal group to show up, in fact Lieutenant Proctor tries to tell his superior that this bank is being robbed right now by this gang, but he is too busy trying to talk. So after these two have egg left on their face, it was decided that they would work with some very familiar faces; just to name one Sergeant Larvell Jones [Michael Winslow] with the strict focus on taking this gang down and as it relates to newcomers I should point out that; Billie Bird as Mrs. Lois Feldman from Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol 1987, is now called Mrs. Stanwyck in this film title. I was thinking I would just point this out; just in case someone pointed it out for me so yes this is a new character for a brief scene of events.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing for this 84 minutes film is good; I have to say from new to the beginning of this content; is without giving too much away; it uses the outlay of who is this individual? As in the air of mystery and they always seem to be one step ahead of us; is excellently laid out. I know, I know we have seen this kind of film or this kind of interpretation time after time and so on and so forth. But then again if you are going to use this outlay; you may as well get really behind it and as it relates to this franchise, we haven't had this storyline and as I have said somewhere in this content as it relates to this franchise I like how they adapt their storylines a bit; so it does keep them relatively progressive, different and not stale. This instalment does have that feeling of more of a crime case-based film as well, which is also good.

Comedy/Action/Art; it does feel like they went with a more cast effort of comedy and action; such as off the top of my head. In one way or another Captain Harris is either screwing up or continuing to be the butt of a prank; let's just say I hope he watches where he sits or/and being in another surveillance situation with Lieutenant Proctor but this time somewhere high out and don't worry if you miss any of transcript because it is getting recorded. In a nutshell; Sergeant Laverne Hooks and Lieutenant Hightower go and rap with the street rappers for information, later on; Sargent does a tiny stand-up set which includes an impersonation of Jimi Hendrix and his music. Lieutenant Debbie Callahan [Leslie Easterbrook] chooses to use her combat skills against these criminals, whilst Sergeant Hooks goes to get some assistance as their radio/walkie-talkie isn't working; there is no surprise here she put foot posterior. Briefly; The Wilson Heights gang [there are three members of this group;] that conveniently one of them is either best suited to take on Sergent Jones or Sergeant Eugene Tackleberry or Lieutenant Hightower in a one-on-one situation and finally we have some heavy duty movable vehicles being used; these vehicle sequences have been well put together so this is good art; so as you can clearly see there is a lot of entertaining things going on through our journey of this sequel.

Character developments and performances; the cast either the long-term and/or the returning or/and the new characters/performers that I haven't mentioned; still have that camaraderie as in; the characters and their performers know who they are and likewise the viewers know these characters very well at this point; it just depends on personal preference if you still like this franchise at this point or you may have got sick and tired of it way before this or after this film title.

This film receives: 9/10, this film is excellent; it isn't as strong as the first batch of films, but it feels noticeably stronger than previous film title Police Academy 5: Assignment: Miami Beach 1988
