Comments: with all things considered this is a solidly good ending
to this pay-per-view. Now let's talk about the first botch, which is designed
to look like one but it isn't one. Where it looks like Shark accidentally yet
purposely goes flying between these two rings but cut short so he is on top
between these two rings where this leads me to believe that this was a planned
spot. Because Shark has deliberately situated himself here so that Sting in the
middle of these two rings can from the far ring, but close by in it can quickly
get in the middle of these rings and kick Shark underneath, so it saves Sting
from doing the heavy lifting here. But don't worry Sting has already done some
heavy lifting as he slams Shark earlier on. The second one is it botch as far
as I'm concerned and it has nothing to do with wrestling. Now for some strange
reason someone or something is not completely correct with this cage, based on
the grounds that The
Dungeon Of Doom members can go underneath with their hands and get involved in
this match before it is their time to do so or if it isn't down to the cage
itself. Meaning if the wrestlers were and should have just ignored this
technicality and kept up with the illusion I know, I know they are heels which
within their character is okay for them to do this, but it does somewhat
spoiled illusion of this cage and stipulation/stipulations
Basic Result: the
Hulkamanics: the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan ["The Mouth of
the South" Jimmy Hart,] the WCW
United States Heavyweight Champion Sting, Randy "The Macho Man"
Savage & "The Total-Package" Lex Lugar are victorious;
consequently Hulk Hogan gets 5 minutes alone
with The Taskmaster Kevin Sullivan now.
Basic walk-through of this event:
* The Taskmaster Kevin Sullivan tries
to make a run for it, but is stopped by a senior official with other people
assisting The Taskmaster Kevin Sullivan to come back and face the music of
Hogan
* The Dungeon Of Doom's The Giant
makes his presence felt; warning simulation of neck breaking
* All of the Hulkamanics come rushing
down to the ring with The Giant with The Taskmaster Kevin Sullivan leaving the
area
* Michael Buffer: Ring-announcer; I
am paraphrasing putting out an urgent medical call.
* Tony Schiavone & Bobby
"The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel": Commentary throughout this
closing section commentating on it and unfortunately bringing this pay-per-view
to close under this heinous act with in a nutshell Schiavone saying something
to the effect of we will see tomorrow for Nitro and Heenan laughing at this
turn of events and then ending credits of this pay-per-view.
This Pay-Per-View receives: 7/10, this Pay-Per-View is good; I mean this is minus one
match slot the rest of them have at minimum some value or purpose to them, but
the crowd for the vast majority of this live event just wasn't here, so it/they
impacted on this Pay-Per-View. I mean who goes to a wrestling event to
basically sit on their hands, full disclosure I haven't been to one granted
they may have burned themselves out watching essentially the pre-show and if
you look throughout this pay-per-view again you can tell when they are or are
not engaged in this pay-per-view.
The highest ranking match on this
card based on attributes that we get to see would be: "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson vs. "The
Nature Boy" Ric Flair; Singles Match with 52/60.
The lowest ranking match on this card
based on attributes that we see would be:
Cobra vs. Sgt Craig "PitBull" Pittman: Singles Match with 14/60.
