Comments: as you
can clearly see this match slot lives up to its expectations. To begin with we
have the commentary building this match up including pointing out wrestlers and
on-screen character that are in the crowd to watch this match, here is two we
get to see wrestler such as Big Bubba and on-screen character such as Col.
Robert Parker and yes the crowd finally wake up and remember they are here to
watch some wrestling engaging with Flair at one point or another, but then
again if you can't get up for this match slot there is something seriously
wrong with you.
But unfortunately there is this
potentially massive botch, I only classify it as a potentially massive botch
Our Referee for this match is [Randy Anderson;] Arn is on the canvas holding on
to Flair's hand/arm in between his legs so Arn's pushing up using his legs/feet
which Flair falls back onto the canvas with Arn still holding on arm bar submission pining combination which because
both Flair's shoulders are on the canvas Randy begins the pin-fall it is either
2.99 or 3 or even 3.1 and then Flair gets his far shoulder up and absolutely
nothing is indicated in the match, but what I can tell you is Randy's hand does
come down for the 3 count so at most as I have already clearly indicated we are
a very fine line here. I'm speculating here, but mixing with what is said next
on commentary. Schiavone says "Brain you're wrong, there's a one
count" and on a quick side note they even screwed up on the subtitles
because when Schiavone says there's,
someone has put here's. But switching my main focus back to this pin-fall.
Firstly Schiavone on one hand there is more than a one count, but on the other
hand I get if this is intended to cover this up, it is either Randy's fault for
maybe counting a little bit too quickly and yes before the hard-core community
of people I even took into consideration Randy's knees could have possibly hit
the canvas before counting, but now I have said that I would like to now put
the flames out on that idea as the knees make no sounds so as I have already
said his hand hits the mat three times or Flair for not paying attention to the
count or to be fair it looks to be a mixture of both, but as I have seen this
on replay so many times at this point I would say it is unclear so consequently
there is a little bit of controversy here.
Basic Result: "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson picks up the W.
Just for the record I know I said earlier there is a little bit of controversy,
this is still valid even though he went over here still.
Basic walk-through of this event: you have two choices here; you can either watch all of
this or take a toilet break, because let's just say there is a lot of admin
here.
* Tony Schiavone & Bobby
"The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel": Commentary talk about what
they had just seen over video replays with Arn Anderson's theme music playing
WCW Arn Anderson 6th Theme With TitanTron. Our commentary duo appear on-screen;
Schiavone more about what we have just witnessed and then literally a second
about the main event before a video package cuts in going on about the main
event.
* First video package: from The
Dungeon Of Doom's leader The Taskmaster Kevin Sullivan; warning flashing
effects/other effects/electrocution
* Tony
Schiavone & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel": Commentary
appears on-screen again, with Schiavone telling us what happened earlier today in a nutshell Hulk Hogan was given a
motorcycle for only The Dungeon Of Doom's TheGiant to run it
over in a monster truck [we see footage of this heinous act including even
interrupting.]
* Tony
Schiavone & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel":
Commentary appears on-screen again, with Schiavone telling us more with
essentially Heenan desperately wanting to get in a edge ways; Schiavone in short
"We don't have time." He sends us to another video package.
* Second video package with
voice-over: recapping the feud and how we got to the main event; excellent
quality of video package with voice-over.
* "Mean" Gene Okerlund:
interviewer, interviews the Hulkamanics: the WCW World Heavyweight Champion
Hulk Hogan [with "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart,] the WCW United
States Heavyweight Champion Sting, Randy "The Macho Man" Savage &
"The Total Package" Lex Luther as they build up to the main event which
is imminent including Hogan making reference to a new stipulation to this match
if his team wins tonight Hogan will get 5 minutes alone with The Taskmaster
Kevin Sullivan.
* Michael Buffer: Ring-announcer;
introduces us to this main event; warning flashing/other effects when the cages
come down.
* Tony
Schiavone; Commentary; talks about WarGames and at some point & Bobby
"The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel" comments
* "Mean" Gene Okerlund:
interviewer, takes us through the rules of this stipulations of this match with

* Michael Buffer: Ring-announcer;
with a major announcement for the crowd which we already know the stipulation
added; if the the Hulkamanics win The
Taskmaster Kevin Sullivan must face Hulk Hogan one-on-one tonight [I know these
two references are not the same, I am just dictating what I am hearing and I
will be using Buffer's description based on the grounds he is reading it off
paper in front of him.]
Michael Buffer: Ring-announcer;
introduces these two teams similar to either American High School or College
sports teams for the upcoming season with this drammatical entrance music;
first team; The Dungeon Of Doom; "The Man from Ying and Yang who walks in
Darkness and Light" Zodiac, The Man-Eater from The Great Barrier Reef
Sherk, The Ugandan Warrior from Deepest,
Darkest Africa, The Man Known As Kamala, A Member of Royalty From The South
Pacific of Tonga Meng "The Face of Terror" & The Leader of The
Dungeon Of Doom from The Iron Gates of Fate The Taskmaster [but I am going to
go with his full name of The Taskmaster Kevin Sullivan, just because it covers
me if they should use a variation of this name either The Taskmaster or Kevin
Sullivan or something like just plain Sullivan, I don't know I haven't seen the
next and final of this pay-per-view.]
* Tony
Schiavone & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel":
Commentary talk about things as it relates to this main event
Michael Buffer: Ring-announcer; team
two ladies and gentlemen from the WCW Galaxy of Stars; presenting the
Hulkamanics' from Sarasota, Florida one of the famous names in wrestling Randy
"The Macho Man" Savage, from Venice Beach California, the 5 times
Heavyweight Champion and the current WCW United States Heavyweight Champion
Sting, from Chicago, Illinois, another great superstar of professional
wrestling, he's "The Total-Package" Lex Lugar and finally in the
company of his manager "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart we have
The King of Hulkamanics, The Living Legend of Pro Wrestling the WCW Heavyweight
Champion of the World Hulk Hogan; yes I have missed out all their weights, but
I just wanted to give you a taste of when I said earlier about them coming out
as a High School or College sports team for the new season.
* Tony
Schiavone & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel":
Commentary talking about this main event again
* Michael Buffer: Ring-announcer;
finishes off speaking a little bit more and signs off with his legendary and
classic "Let's Get Ready To Rumble!"
* Tony
Schiavone & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel":
Commentary Schiavone is keeping us up to date on things around ringside and
then they talk about who's it going to be that kind of thing; so first for Hulkamanics' it's the WCW United States Heavyweight Champion Sting and for The
Dungeon Of Doom its Shark for the first 5 minutes.
