It is a good thing that July 4 a.k.a. Independence Day comes round once a year: I'm going to put any general outline in here; EMT Dezi/LAPD Officer Dezi [Jack Kilmer] as got fed up when he loses everything and on top of that his Dad [Timothy V. Murphy] is on the verge of losing his safe haven for children on the streets done in the name of his wife and Dezi's mother. So LAPD Officer Dezi comes up with the idea to take these two men with him with his father in full knowledge of what they are doing and rob this bank "Beston Bank and Trust" for a second time. The entrance into this film is we have another group robbing the first time around.  Detective James Knight [Bruce Willis] and his partner Detective Eric Fitzgerald [Lochlyn Munro] are going to try and stop them, but EMT Ally Knight [Willow Shields] better not get stuck between her father and her boyfriend.

The pacing for this 91 minutes film is slow, in short the opening section and the closing section has a get up and go to it, but the rest of the time it plods along.

Action/Art: this crew of robbers hit "Beston Bank and Trust" and we get to see this action sequence until its conclusion from the first-person shooter [this is a video game genre and terminology used in the Doom videogame franchise and before I irritate some people out there I need to mention the Call of Duty videogame franchise as well; the prospective is from the person/gamer we are that person so we shoot, pick up things, investigate the possibilities are endless. Meaning someone just has to come with an idea and adapt it to this outlay. The biggest asset other than adapting it to any outlay is it is exceptionally immersive I should quickly state if it is done correctly big videogame or in this case film which it is; it makes the audience feel as if they are right there as things are going down. Yes there are other little bits and pieces of this method being used in the opening section in other elements, but I just went for the biggest chunk of it as it is much easier to point out, I am not being lazy here. But if or when you see in this sequel, why should I point out these little moments when there is this excellenly designed and long sequence to highlight and talk about and separately we hear some poetry from Detective Eric Fitzgerald; this is good as well.

Comedy: at the end of this film we still have this running joke just change the holidays where Detective Knight says in this film Happy Fourth mother lover!" With a small chuckle.

The character developments and the performances are solid and the same can be said for performances after taking everything into consideration. Willis is still able to show glimpses of the action hero most of us grew up with.

This film receives: 3/10, this film is poor I decided it to award another mark based on the imaginative and an excellently executed action sequence and am forever reflection for Bruce Willis as well.
