Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/transformation

Roughly the first 59 minutes of this roughly 129 minutes movie: the former Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. [Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division] Nick Fury [Samuel L. Jackson] and former high-ranking Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Maria Hill [Cobie Smulders] are assisting someone from Earth Dimension-616 [after some research it is also known as Earth-99999, I was thinking I would just put this in just to cover my back at some point someone may read this and get funny that I didn't use all mention the original designation, but I have to say which is a better designation of numbers. I am not going to get this out of laziness, but it has more to do with the fact the more you look into different Earth Dimensions, the more things get information overload/confusing, you see I am not just looking for this film I am also doing this for the sequel to this film, Spider-Man: No Way Home 2021, but I digress;] Quentin Beck/Mysterio [Jake Gyllenhaal] to stop these Elemental from doing the same to Earth Dimension-833, but more importantly what happened to his family. So Nick Fury attempts to call on Peter Parker/Spider-Man/Night Monkey [Tom Holland,] but he is much more interested in being Peter Parker and getting to know MJ [Zendaya] on this school trip.

The pacing actually this film takes up until roughly 59 minutes to wake up, yes there may be some positive sequences where in a nutshell Peter Parker/Spider-Man/Night Monkey, Quentin Beck/Mysterio and so on are getting along, working together, fighting alongside one another and it looking engaging. The rest of this big slice of this film is at the point of this film just in the good section of my marking system, but if it continued much longer it was just going to eventually tumble downwards.

But now moving on to the rest of the film it suddenly wakes up roughly around the time E.D.I.T.H. [Even Dead, I'm the Hero] gets handed over. Then I would consider this to be the beginning of the film itself, as things settle down [well I say settles down, I mean this from the perspective of everything slots into place and with gusto it moves at a rapid pace] to a high standard MCU [Marvel Cinematic Universe] film title has friends turned enemies vs one another and wow they really went to town [I mean this in a positive sense] on bringing this enemy's skill sets to life [with a well-organised unit behind him] as anything at any time can become possible if you or Peter Parker/Spider-Man/Night Monkey is not paying attention and yes this film got an award or nominated because of these visual effects; Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts [AACTA] Awards 2019; AACTA Award; Best Visual Effects or Animation Brendan Seals Michael Perdew Andrew Zink Adam Gailey and nominated Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA 2019; Saturn Award; Best Special Effects Janek Sirrs Theodore Bialek Brendan Seals Alexis Wajsbrot. They really did put everything into showing these skills sets and having this unit behind him is and was in hindsight an imaginative and excellent character development.

We also have now and again some well-placed and natural comedy for an example the head of security for Stark Industries Harold "Happy" Hogan [Jon Favreau] piloting this Stark Industries Jet vertically with Peter Parker/Spider-Man/Night Monkey on the outside in one of his crouching stance, as they gave higher and higher with this strong conditions eventually Peter Parker/Spider-Man/Night Monkey suddenly falls off [little time earlier Happy says to Peter Parker/Spider-Man/Night Monkey before they set off into this sequence "Stay sticky."]

The character developments and performances; they are generally speaking all good [when I say generally speaking I mean other than the excellent character development which I previously had made reference to.]

This film receives: 8/10, this film is excellent; this is how strong this film is after the 59 minute mark that the mark is easy to justify and it is cool that the Power Rangers and Voltron get a mention in this film at some point as well, here is a friendly heads up there are two closing credits scenes at one point or another. This sequel has awards accredited to its name [as you have already seen] 11 Winner such as for an example Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA 2019; Saturn Award; Best Supporting Actress Zendaya. Nominee at the same awards ceremony/event Best Performance by a Younger Actor Tom Holland.
