Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/electrocution/disfigurement/impaling/cutting/hanging/medical/breaking/animal cruelty

Batman, Scarecrow, Joker and by a flip of a coin the scales of justice could be tilted either way: after dealing with Dr. Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow [Cillian Murphy.] But it looks like Bruce Wayne/Batman [Christian Bale] is going to get some official help from Gotham's DA [District Attorney] Harvey Dent/Two-Face [Aaron Eckhart,] but why looks a serious when the Joker [Heath Ledger] it here in Gotham City to put a big smile on your face.

The pacing is excellent for this roughly 152 minutes film as it knows when to go up and down and vice versa throughout its gears; we have plenty of time to go halfway around the world to China [Hong Kong] and back to USA [New Jersey] Gotham City with Lucius Fox [Morgan Freeman] and Bruce Wayne/Batman, so Lucius Fox could have a meeting with Mr Lau [Chin Han] the owner of Lau Secure Investments who was hoping to go into business with Wayne Enterprises.

But without giving too much away Bruce Wayne/Batman is here on a extraction mission which doesn't go quietly. Bruce Wayne/Batman firstly fires detonator gun [the is our very small detonators which he can select a time on these detonators and then fire them to explode or more specifically in this case to create an escape which is roughly set out for 2 minutes and 25 seconds] jumping this very high up building and spreading his wings which are built into his costume so he can glide with fantastic speed and elegance down and into this headquarters building where he breaks through this pane of glass with his wings closed around him to protect himself and roll through to stand up and begin this chaotic henchman/security on the end of this sequence we have Bruce Wayne/Batman with this package, with the time expiring on these detonators with a bang, Bruce Wayne/Batman sends out this parachute beacon for this drone plane to come and pick him up with this package, so Bruce Wayne/Batman turns around with this package and quickly fires connection cable point to this drone plane and they escape through the air; this from an art or/action perspective is a treat for the eyes and highly engaging.

Sometime later and this is just an example of the comedy which this sequel has to offer. Joker has ripped the is explosives to go off at Gotham City General Hospital, he is wearing this brown wig with this nurses uniform on with these explosions going off, he looks really hard and menacing. But that until we get to the closing stages of this explosive scene/sequence where he gives off the impression that;" That is strange I was under the impression that there was one more explosion" he turns around [does a flap with his arms to suggest "And where are you? I have put a lot of work"] into this as he begins to play around with the detonator ["Everything seems to be okay here."] It suddenly detonates and makes him jump with that he quickly throws it away as in to say ["I am quickly going to get rid of this before something else goes wrong."] With that he opens a backdoor this school bus and leaves this location with his henchmen on or driving this bus.

Now between this trio of Christopher Nolan [Screenplay/Director,] Bruce Wayne/Batman: Christian Bale and Joker: Heath Ledger they really wanted to explore and show this beautifully yet disturbingly relationship between Bruce Wayne/Batman and The Joker or in this case just Joker which yes Joker does make reference to this at the very late stages of this film talking to Bruce Wayne/Batman.

But on the whole between this trio they did a flawless representation of this symbiotic relationship, in fact Heath Ledger Won or Nominee for his role as this iconic character, but for the younger people out there in Internet land, I need to point out that someone of the awards were Posthumously given, but I should point out even if he was alive he should have been given them anyway, but I will just put two examples of his awards, because as you will see later this project one so many awards; Academy Awards, USA 2009; Oscar; Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role Heath Ledger and London Critics Circle Film Awards 2009; ALFS Award; Actor of the Year Heath Ledger, just to cover my back in the future I have looked up and down this accredited list two or three times here are two examples of awards being Won without Posthumously; People's Choice Awards, USA 2009;  People's Choice Award; Favorite On-Screen Match-Up Christian Bale Heath Ledger [at the same awards event/ceremony] Favorite Cast Christian Bale Heath Ledger Michael Caine Aaron Eckhart Morgan Freeman Maggie Gyllenhaal Gary Oldman, as you can see like the previous instalment this is a cast performance and it continues to be of the very highest standard even though we now have Rachel Dawson being portrayed by Maggie Gyllenhaal and not Katie Holmes, finally Gary Oldman as Lt Jim Gordon becomes Commissioners [I have just done this bit to keep up with his personal progression in the GCPD; Gotham City Police Department.]

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment: as a stand-alone film this sequel is a classic and should be seen definitely once in your lifetime. But as a linchpin in this trilogy it confidently moves things on ready for the conclusion of this trilogy. This project has many awards credited to its name, it reads as follows; Won 2 Oscars 159 wins & 163 nominations total.
