Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/man on woman violence/medical/burning/shooting/stabbing

Storyline/Art/Action/Comedy/Character [Character developments]/Performances: these components combined in one way or another; we have Teddy Murretto [Frank Grillo] in a pretty banged up police vehicle on the run, which at this point slowly grinds to a halt then. Rooikie Officer Valerie Young [Alexis Louder] with her yellow shades on; standing/leaning on/against their police vehicle or/and Captain Duane Mitchell [Chad L. Coleman] using this vehicle's bonnet as a table as he is eating this greasy burger from this roadside mobile fast food takeaway; as this incoming radio message I am paraphrasing; there is this disturbance at Indian Springs Casino which these two respond to, the Captain is hardly happy about this whilst complaining, rushing, getting into their vehicle and eating as they hit the road with lights and siren on to this disturbance.

The entrance/opening credits to this film begin; we have the colour scheme of blue and red with this very 1970's enter a music [daytime] Teddy Murretto has now exited this broken down police vehicle, looking back at it putting his coat on and carrying this blue bag turning away from this please vehicle and now on foot, we go back to our police duo quickly off to their destination with this landscape grey skies, clouds, mountains and this really dry grass, with this police vehicle on the road with the title; COPSHOP - COP [in blue and the O as a sniper targeting apparatus] and SHOP [in red] with Teddy Murretto now running holding this blue bag under his arm and now wearing these yellow shades, back to the police vehicle entering this scene [camera shot/angle is constructed to make this road look longer and this night begins to settle in this scene] he is still running, we go back to the police vehicle still quickly moving [from birds eye perspective; as things have been given the impression that it slightly later based on they now have their headlights on;] we have this quick buck and forth between Teddy Murretto and this police vehicle, then we have Teddy Murretto [coming towards the camera; coming up with the idea I can get arrested there; the camera shows us what he is looking at and it just so happens to be where our Officers are heading in fact he looks back to see these headlights approaching him, it is our police vehicle, so he begins to put his hair up and turns around and finishes doing it and runs/looks behind him and then again forward with running into this location with this police vehicle/duo just behind him.

On leaving her Captain eating his burger with this comical dialogue exchange this Rooikie goes to try and sort out this disturbance, a little while later Teddy Murretto assaults Rooikie Officer Valerie Young some of the surrounding disturbance are shocked and even a couple of them get out there mobile [he does apologise] and puts up his hands in short asks who is going to arrest him?; but don't worry  Rooikie Officer Valerie Young gets her own back tasering and him quickly going down with some of this disturbance being like a panto crowd with appropriate sound effects and reactions to "That has got to hurt." [Rooikie picking up her yellow shades with saying you are under arrest with putting these shades back on her face] with her tasering  Murretto again with a the same reaction from this crowd.

But we have this onlooker Bob Viddick [Gerard Butler] watching on from his car, but at least he is much more stable than  Anthony " Tony" Lamb [Toby Huss.,] Because of his mental instability's he does somewhat inject some pace into this project which generally speaking doesn't have the greatest get up and go to it and the other character developments are something safe and reliable; we do get this story teller from Murretto as it relates to some of his character development, this film is mainly based in this Police Station and one final thing about the storyline we never find out what happens in the end.

The performances are; what they are; but a special mention has to go out to firstly Toby Huss for being acting completely crazy as his character in this project, finally but so much more importantly Alexis Louder just leading this cast with an all-round presence and she should become the next/new action woman in films as she seems to pull that off with ease, comfort and a certain stage presence that all action film stars have regardless of gender.

This film receives: 5/10, this film is mixed; yes after everything is said and done this mark is a fair outcome and likewise yes as things are this film [when this was first dictated] has no Awards credited to its name, I am making reference to Alexis Louder performance I would have thought she would have got a positive performance nomination from somewhere, she with great ease, confidence and stage presence should be the next action star.
