Storyline/Character [Character developments,] Action,
Art, Comedy and Performances: all
these components combined in one way or another; it has been roughly 4 years
since we have been in this world Mr
Anderson/Neo [Keanu Reeves] potentially seeing into the future by dreams about
Trinity [Carrie-Anne Moss.] Agent Smith/Smith [Hugo Weaving] makes his return
known, but he is so much more dangerous as he no longer is a part of The Matrix
as an Agent, he is a rogue AI that can now assimilate both the subjects which
are plugged in to The Matrix and there was that there are unplugs from it; basically
both Blue and Red Pills. Generally speaking the storyline and the pacing are
both positive as this project moves things on, but also does the foundation
work for the next project; released in the same year of 2003, but later on in
the year and yes we get these " To Be Continued" at the end of this
film; this film goes on for roughly 138 minutes.
Mr
Anderson/Neo has learned the ability to fly like Superman as Link [Harold
Perrineau] makes reference to this famous and legendary Kryptonian as he describes
where Mr Anderson/Neo now to Morpheus [Laurence Fishburne.] This is fantastic
action and art; here is just a little piece of this sequence Mr Anderson/Neo is
high up above the clouds with the moon brightly in the background and how he
darts like grease lightning through the clouds through them; they quickly that
he makes them move and makes them look like a hurricane from underneath when he
has been through them.
Later
on; we have Mr Anderson/Neo taking on these many upon many Agent Smiths/Smiths
after this scene with the Oracle and Seraph [Gloria Foster and Collin Chou;]
this like all of its action sequences in this sequel are high octane action
with fantastic art to match, but we also get a sprinkling of comedy; where the
viewing audience sees Mr Anderson/Neo use a Agent Smith/Smith to take out other
ones or when Mr Anderson/Neo takes up this long pole which is/was cemented into
the ground which just increases the chaos as for one example these Agent
Smiths/Smiths get hit with this pole it is all about the distance heading
towards nearby building or just high up and down.
Performances;
like its predecessor this is a cast performance as they all up for bringing
this sequel to live.
This film receives: 9/10, this film is excellent; yes it does have lots going
on but after everything is said and done, this mark is a fair outcome. The
reason why I have said Agent Smith/Smith; is because I know that some point
whatever name I put here someone will come back to me and say " No there
isn't his name in this sequel" whatever name I put here so I went with
both. This film also has Awards credit to its name Won 8; for an example BMI
Film & TV Awards 2004; BMI Film Music Award; Don Davis. Nominated 34; for
an example; Black Reel Awards 2004; But however in the interest of fairness and
balance this project has also been Won or Nominated. Golden Schmoes Awards
2003; Golden Schmoes; Most Overrated Movie of the Year For The Matrix
Revolutions and Razzie Awards 2004; Razzie Award Worst Director Lilly Wachowski
& Lana Wachowski For The Matrix Revolutions. I know these two Awards are
relating to the sequel, but they are credited to this film as well. Likewise I
just didn't want to have people come back to me at some point; to point out I
was misleading you or something to this effect and just in case you are getting
confused why this could be as I have already made reference to these two
sequels were released in the same year, but in case I am wrong this is just
speculation on my part mixed with logical/common sense.
