The Building of: WWE vs. All Elite Wrestling Volume 37 by AverageMansReview
Just a heads up: as everyone should
know by now I don't use adult language in my content, but I do use softer
versions of what I mean. This Volume will be focusing on outside of ring; it is
Monday you know what that means.
WWE: now straight off the bat this company didn't do
enough on the passing of Luke Harper/Jon Huber and yes I have seen the video on
their WWE.com and the standard in memory of the beginning of their TV broadcasting
of their weekly content. But if I was Mr. McMahon I would have got on the phone
to Bray Wyatt and told him to get out his old gear including rocking-chair and
lantern and told him "Look you have a segment on RAW tonight under your
old Wyatt Family gimmick, dedicate it to Luke Harper/Jon Huber if some wrestlers
want to be involved it is okay just work within this segment [so this has nothing to do with any current plans with
It is a
great thing when you have characters/performers/others that are willing to show
their love for their fallen Brother regardless of wrestling promotion loyalty,
sadly it just reminds me again how archaic some sections of the wrestling
industry still are and this will not be the only time I make reference to this.
Providing you don't do anything like Benoit; the life of an individual should
be celebrated and not left to just the people that are working for the
promotion in some cases; meaning never ever; never ever forget the WWE use
Independent Contractors. So on the behalf of every wrestling fan for those that
shared their experiences or this is speculation on my part at least leaned on
this company to do more or anything other Thank You for sharing a piece of your
life with us.
Right for
those that want transparency yes I am making reference to you Disco Infernal
and others on Harper/Huber's passing incoming newsflash! We have no rights to
ask or pester or demand an answer yes if you want to be cocky, arrogant or just
a massive turd yes Harper/Lee can be seen as public characters, but however
this does not apply to Huber and the Huber family. So if his Wife [Amanda
Huber] or any of the Huber family want to make it public now or years down the
line that is their choice; on a little bit of research now she has made it
public knowledge [I will tell you later on where you can find out this
information.]
Back to the
archaic section of the wrestling industry; so apparently the current product is
soft were in decades gone past they used to be weapons in bags, but nowadays
they would prefer to look pretty and play on videogames; I am paraphrasing from
The Undertaker/Mark Callaway; for those of an old age it is called
"Progression" and yes in the interest of being fair and balanced
maybe they could do with a little bit more of harder skin, but other than that
they are just doing fine, at least I can see this present generation and future
generations working together to put over each other and possibly being in
better shape when they get to an older age [just to cover my back depending on
their wrestling style,] but generally speaking in better shape anyway, I mean I
have to say I find it very convenient that the old guard seemingly forget about
the steroids/other drugs use back in their day, but then again they are old so
it is easy for them to forget.
I'm not
being funny but I don't know about everyone else, but no disrespect to the old
guard but if videogames can prevent and gel the locker room what the hell if I
was a wrestling promoter I would purchase the consoles for the locker rooms; if
at minimum it can prevent bad habits of substance abuse or assist towards less
mental health issues or other than I really don't have a problem with how they
look and for the old guard saying the current product is soft; quick question
have any of you seen Darby Allin? [The current AEW TNT Champion;] he will give
you 100% and more in every match and probably take some hard bumps on the way.
You either progress with change or you become sand in the wind simple as.
All Elite Wrestling: Eric Redbeard
needs to come home to AEW, I think he would fit in very well with this company
and he would be able to contribute and continue the legacy of Luke
Harper/Brodie Lee/Jon Huber and furthermore I would make some alterations at the
AEW Pay-Per-View Double or Nothing; I would make the 21-Man Casino Battle
Royale the Main Event, correction re-name it The 21-Man Brody Battle-Brawler where everything
is similar than before but now with a little twist the final 5 are then in a
Ladder Match [where they have to pull down this contract for an opportunity at
the AEW World Championship;] so yes they have to get the papers and if anyone
thinks this is just me ripping off the Royal Rumble; being polite you can do
one, because all I am interested in is making sure that as this was Brodie Lee
[AEW World Championship Match against then AEW World Champion Jon Moxley at the
Pay-Per-View Double or Nothing 2020.] I am ensuring that Brodie Lee will be
always in the Main Event of this Pay-Per-View for ever; does anyone have a
problem with that?... No... Good.
"-1"
Brodie Lee Jr. [Jonathan Huber's real life son] has officially signed with AEW
and of what I have seen online and on AEW content the only thing slowing him
down is his physical age [he has recently turned 9 years old.] Meaning he has
the mind and the brain of a wrestling he knows how to perform and promos and
everything in between, but he and we have to wait about a decade before his
body to develop with his mind and brain to get on the same page.
I have just
had an idea for an angle until he comes of age; they could bring in Redbeard to
be -1 enforcer, so when -1 isn't around or when the world goes back to normal
you could have him sending a video message or a Tweet [using the Dark Order's
account until he becomes of age] of how he wants things done or anything
really, so it keeps him in wrestling but able to have a balanced life as well,
I have no doubt he will become a wrestler like his dad and who knows if this
goes well, it could be a potentially new way of bringing wrestling talent in,
before I receive any form of backlash, I am talking from the perspective of
they do this in soccer and in other sports so why not bring one or two into
wrestling, but they would have to show Negative -1 's talent and enjoyment at
minimum first.
Brodie Lee
Celebration of Life: Wednesday 30/12/2020 this was excellently done AEW on; I
have found out this was Brodie Lee's funeral which he had 977,000 viewers
watching so this was an excellent send-off [if you're interested NXT: 586,000.] But I only bring this up because that is a great number for
Lee/Huber's send-off [I found this information out via AEW Unrestricted [with
Amanda Huber:] Sunday 28/01/2021, I haven't listened to this version yet just a
little segment online, but it is on my to-do list, it goes on for roughly an
hour and so without hearing it in full I should imagine they discuss everything
off what I have heard she gives us a very open account of what happened to her husband
[warning: if you go and listen to this there are some adult language which let’s
be honest is not surprising.] I know if I didn’t mention this I would run the
risk of people coming back to me complaining
I didn’t give them a warning, But even before finding all of this out I was like why are people against the AEW viewership numbers for this week and the Wednesday night war, before I even have any unpleasant feedback this war is irrelevant, but all I was interested in is Brodie Lee having a good send-off in every way possible including the viewership and if you're wondering why this was his funeral; this global pandemic
Now I do
respect Jim Ross and he does have a right to voice his opinion, but once again
in fairness and balance he should voice it backstage and not make it a public
thing, either about the modern wrestling style or agreeing with The
Undertaker/Mark Callaway's comments; in particular when it comes to talking
about the modern wrestling style; based on the grounds it is his job to put
them over on commentary, but he has just buried them in reality. The thing is
with AEW you're going to get many different cultures/styles within this company
even more so with AEW because simply put they have the freedom to express
themselves.
Booker T.
may I make a suggestion you get your lips and tongue out of Mr. McMahon's
posterior as it relates to Sting joining AEW at his age of 61, because the WWE
have no moral high ground here so your comments are irrelevant based on the
grounds of The Undertaker [55] and yes has since retired, but has he really? As
long as Mr. McMahon is breathing there is always the possibility of The
Undertaker making a return, Goldberg [54] and is still in the Championship picture
[last happened; WWE Royal Rumble 2021] and the last time I looked I mean this
respectfully The Undertaker could hardly move in the ring and unless McIntyre
which I'm sure he did make Goldberg look good last night; Goldberg cannot
safely or otherwise pull off the Jackhammer anymore, it just looks like a
pitiful suplex and not
forgetting those highly profitable but highly controversial shows over in the
Middle East where because the payer wants wrestlers from eras gone past the WWE
gets them.
I mean I am
not naïve I know Sting is 61 years old and I think he knows that as well, but I
can't be the only one seeing the bigger picture here; he went there to go back
home to TNT, he went there to do what he did for formally TNA [Total Nonstop
Action Wrestling 2003-2014] better known as Impact Wrestling today which at
that time they had a lot of young guns so to put them over and himself over as
well but fast-forward into 2021, he is probably looking at the AEW locker room
going "I can make a difference here and I could actively retire
here." Actively retire means wrestle a very limited [well protected
situation] for now, which will get less and less but switch to a more on-screen
character or mix that with being backstage and giving creative input or
anything like that I can't see him retiring from the wrestling industry he has
so much to give just in different ways and this is speculation on my part but
there is possibly one thing which Sting needs to or want to correct which he
will at AEW: Revolution 2021 is last active match didn't end too well [Night of
Champions 2015; the Main Event Sting vs. Seth Rollins, where he suffered a
career ending or so we thought a career ending injury] and who knows because he
had an enforced long-term absence from the ring his body may be in better shape
I am not trying to sugar-coat it he is still 61 but that is roughly over five
years without putting any bumps on his body and here is one little fact for you
Booker T. Ric Flair was still wrestling at roughly 61 as well [Sting vs. Ric
Flair on an episode of TNA; Monday 12/09/2011.]
So I have
one final thing to say "Get the Papers" Rest In Peace Jon "Luke
Harper/Brodie Lee" Huber.
