Review Time: this film is good.
Fundamental elements: there are numbers
and words on screen, cultural elements, background music, quick moving effects,
slow-moving effects, mental imagery time jumps and place jumps.
The
movement; the only problem that this project has is when it is rotating
backwards and forwards between back stories [mental imagery] and the present.
This project is much more happier going forward, it just feels like when these
mental imagery back stories happen it throws this film off its rhythm.
Back stories/Storyline: the viewers get
placed in this interview situation and we will come back to this interview
situation a couple of more times in this film and [this back story on top of
this; before the title of this film] and as I have already mentioned we get
these mental imagery back stories, sound effects of a character/performer
suffering with PTSD [Post Traumatic Stress Disorder] and they will get
discussed in the dialogue exchanges as well. The storyline has narratives
crossing over into one another, some merging later on and this film is based on
real-life events.
Action sequences/Artistic visions/Comedy level: there are equipment, machinery with people doing their very dangerous
and life threatening job, combat and a weapon being used. Moving on to the
artistic visions the scenery looks excellent [to be specific the outside
scenery,] you will know what I mean when you see them; they will capture your
attention that is for sure, there is this band playing music and look out for
this little Tin Man [a character from The Wizard of Oz] and there is a little
bit of comedy in the dialogue exchanges.
Character developments/Performances: on both counts these are good, consequently there is good
chemistry/friction [depending where you are; is depending what you get.]
This film receives: 6/10, as I have
already said this film is good.
