Review Time: this film is good.
Fundamental elements: there are numbers
and words on screen, cultural elements, background music, slow-motion effects,
quick moving effects, mental imagery, time jumps and place jumps.
Origin storyline/Back story/Storyline: the origin storyline and back story [they can be seen as the same
thing,] but if I didn't point this out here I know at some point someone would
point this out eventually, they come to us in the form of mental imagery and
the storyline is based on real-life events.
Action sequences/Artistic visions/Comedy level: there are weapons being used, combat, boxing, training and chasing, moving
on to the artistic visions; singing and instruments. The comedy level they are
based in the dialogue exchanges or our lead character/performer not realizing
he has been stabbed in the leg, then getting someone to pull it out and then
just carrying on with what they are doing at the time.
Character developments/Performances: generally speaking at first all the characters are good, but now to be
a little bit more specific I am not condoning anything that our lead role has
done, but four things come over very clearly in this project. One this
character/performer is a product of his environment growing up. Two this
character/performer is mentally unstable and could have done with seeking or
receiving medical assistance for this. Three and four deep, deep down this
character/performer is a good man and loves his wife and she loves him.
Likewise all the performances are good, yes there is chemistry or friction
[depending where you are; is depending what you get] and yes things can quickly
change with our lead character/performer having this unstable nature as well.
This film receives: 6/10, after everything is said and done this mark is a fair
conclusion.
