Review Time: this film is mixed.
Fundamental elements: there are
voice-over elements, words on screen, background music, cultural elements,
slow-motion effects, no subtitles when another language is being used, mental
imagery, time jumps and place jumps.
Back stories/Storyline: the back stories
come to the audience via dialogue exchanges and the storyline is
straightforward.
Action sequences/Artistic visions: there are weapons being used, combat, chasing, training, a speed
boat, planes and an underwater element. Here is something for you to look out
for; how this motorbike gets used in an action sequence is imaginative. Moving
on to the artistic visions; let's begin with this train this is a very small
piece but there is a scene where this train is moving along and these special
effects get used. The landscapes can be eye-catching [trust me you will know
when this happens, because it is incredibly easy/obvious when these moments
happen] and here is another thing for you to look out for; there is this bird
on this table, because this scene is by night it does take a minute or less to
realize what is on the table, by the time you have realized what it is; he or
she has flown away [I don't know what kind of bird this is; but I know it is a
bird that is as far as my knowledge goes.]
Now these
elements have something to do with the action sequences and the artistic
visions looking from a character's/performer's perspective be it visual/night
vision or sight [on a gun.]
Comedy level: there are elements of comedy
in this title such as a character/performer handing over some bits of another
character/performer to our lead role and eating some out of date food.
Character developments/Performances: all I can say here is this; the character developments and the
performances are something straightforward, there is chemistry/friction
[depending where you are; is depending what you get,] but that is it; they are
what they are.
This film receives: 5/10, this is one
of those occasions where I could only give one mark and this would be it, I
mean it sets out to do what it has been designed to do and it does it.
