Really is anyone surprised by this: now I should point out from the very beginning, I have watched a
reliable source that this company is consistently struggling with their viewing
numbers as it relates to their TV ratings, I don't say this with happiness or
smugness, but once again is anyone surprised by this I mean if you were honest
with yourselves deep down that kind of thing,
this will be in no particular order and whilst I have been dictating
this it has gradually got bigger and bigger, so I will be separating it into
different parts and if it should happen I have missed something out this is
just a step by step process for this company to work on over the next 5 to 10
years, to see the real benefits and yes I do think it will take that long, that
is providing they begin right now.
Archaic values: I think this topic
would be the best place to begin, the fact that this company uses archaic
values is a massive problem on multiple levels, which you will see/read through
this blog time after time, they say they are progressive and so on and so
forth, but in reality they are so far behind it isn't funny.
Contracts: these are a joke, now yes I
may not know the ins and outs of these but however it has been well publicized
throughout the years that this company does not include Health Insurance or a
Union to their characters/performers [because I believe that it is ridiculous
that this company has the power to freeze or extend someone's contract, if they
are injured at some point or have them sitting on the sideline and just
extending more time this way so they cannot go anywhere, but if they come back
off injury and they are happy or reasonable to extend this time on their
current contract then all good.] In fairness they offer substance-abuse rehab,
so as I am of average intelligence or less, so let me get this right they are
independent contractors but they are not [this company will not allow their
talent to go and work anywhere else which is outside of their umbrella,] they
are employees but they aren't, so what are they? Besides being stuck between a
rock and a very hard place [update your contracts to include health insurance,
a union, more days off, a 6 strike policy which breaks down into two sections 3
on each side, the first side is already in use it is a substance-abuse 3
strikes policy and the other section will be based on a public image violation
which basically means an individual cannot go on to social media and announce
they have requested their release or anything which the WWE considers a
detriment to their public image. On a third strike this company has the right
to dismiss the individual in question, has the option to fine/sue them for the
rest of the contract including preventing the individual in question from not
working in the United States of America for 120 days. But there is more if
there is an individual which is clear to wrestle and is not wrestling or happy
being used in their current role or character [on a quick side note it may help
if the talent was given 48% control over their characters, so they are given a
little bit more to work with as in if this character is a success or not, as
long as they are within the WWE, they cannot take their character with them
anywhere else this piece is already in a WWE contract,] they are within their
rights to request their release after 120 days if by 160 days this situation
has not been resolved their request will be accepted and by 180 days they are
free agents. There is one more thing if they have certain guarantees in their
contracts such as a Universal Championship run, these must be given because it
gives the character/performer in question the option of an instant release
[within 20 days notice] if these guarantees are not met, the WWE will not be
held responsible for putting in place the storyline for them to become champion
on any level if the individual is injured just before or during this
championship run, because it shows they had the intention or try to fulfil
these obligations
