Review Time: this title is mixed.
Fundamental elements: there are voice-over elements, environmental elements, background
music, cultural elements, slow-motion effects, no subtitles when another
language is being used, time jumps and place jumps.
I don't know what it is about this
project, there are things happening, but for some strange reason it feels slow
or a better way of putting it would be I couldn't let this film take me on a
journey.
Action sequences/Comedy level: there are weapons being used,
chasing sequences and combat elements. Now just to talk about one sequence; it
would have to be the Hovercraft sequence, it is quick, there is an element of
comedy in it as our lead partnership are trying to escape from this situation
and our lead role seems to [and I am guessing here] but has no experience steering
this vehicle there is a small piece of a dialogue exchange between these two
characters which highlights this as well.
Character developments/Performances: on both counts the character
developments and the performances range from something like their character
models as in they are what they are for that specific character type and they
are solid, whilst as it relates to other characters/performers there is more to
them as characters and performances, I should just point out as it goes there
are no poor performances.
This film receives: 5/10, now after everything is said and done this mark, based on
my opinion and viewing experience is fair and on reflection this project does
feel and look like it is from the 1990's [before someone points this out I know
it is from the 1990's].
