The Transformers 1984 -- 1987 [Season 1, Volume 2] Episode 16: Heavy Metal War by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is highly entertaining.

Character developments: I don't know what to say about this episode really, because I really don't want to give too much away, but having said this I am going to begin with the fact we have some more new characters, they are collectively known as the Constructicons, these are Decepticons their individual transform states are based around construction vehicles or machinery depending on your perspective, but either way it is something based on construction, individually or together these characters come across as intelligent amongst other things, so I would consider these characters individually or collectively to be dangerous.

I am thinking I am forgetting something [not really,] this collective also has the ability to construct themselves into another Decepticon, his name is Devastator if you think the Constructicons are dangerous, Devastator brings devastation on an astronomical scale.

Artistic visions: Soundwave is sitting down getting ready to see this one-on-one contest, the viewers can see he is relaxing a little bit because he decides to let out two of his mini-cassettes, one is Laserbeak and the second is Ravage, which he lays down next to Soundwave and Soundwave puts his hand on Ravage's head.

Action sequences: I don't want to say too much here but maybe this; generally speaking all the action sequences are lots of fun, I mean if I had to give you just one example how about this; Optimus Prime vs. Megatron.

This episode receives: 10/10, this episode offers so much hard-hitting entertainment in such a short time that this episode is very deserving of this mark.

Important information: I was about to begin looking at Season 1, Volume 3 but it is full of extra features and not episodes, but here is what the DVD looks like.
