Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle 2017 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this project is mixed

Fundamental elements: there is background music, culture elements, voice-over elements, time jumps and place jumps.

Action sequences/Comedy elements: I will try not to repeat myself too much, this will make better sense the more you read of this review, these two elements are mixed, these are just some examples for you to look out for when you are watching this title; when Spencer/Dr. Smolder Bravestone talks through these movements and performs these movements, next whenever Martha/Ruby Roundhouse involves this boombox in one way or another.

Artistic visions: these animals in Jumanji in the interest of fairness and balance; they look, move and everything that comes with them is excellent.

Character developments/Performances: now as I have been dictating this review unless I have missed something, these characters developments are safe and reliable meaning, you have a jock type, two nerdy types and one that's popular, good looking and into social media type. I have to be very careful on what I say next; my point is this; so in this modern era of filmmaking and considering these characters are meant to be in high school in present times or somewhere around here [when this film review was released,] experiencing life and discovering things about themselves and so on, so you are telling me that not one of these characters is gay [or something like this] or has mental health issues [or something like this or anything you can think of.] Before I receive any feedback be it negative or positive or anything, I'm just simply pointing out they could have gave this project a bit more substance, if they had chosen one or maybe two character developments which are a reflection of the modernized world, on a quick side note yes I know one female character turns into a male avatar, but it isn't the same kind of substance I am talking about, because if anything it is used as a comedy element or elements, maybe if they try to balance these particular comedy elements with substance between the group with something sensible or serious it would have been better [or anything of real life substance would have be nice, instead of these safe and reliable and I am going to say this; these outdated character developments with the standard of going through this event having sensible conversations or something to that effect to change things when they get back to their real lives.] But moving on generally speaking young or older these performances are mixed.

This film receives: 5/10, this project is a mixed bag really; I don't know how to describe it, because things change so much about this title in a short amount of time, so briefly one moment it can be something like a cliché or something like this; whilst other moments can be good or somewhere around here and everything in the middle.
