Review Time: this project is excellent

Fundamental elements: there are cultural elements, background music, slow-motion effects, words on screen, a flashback thing [used in small amounts you will notice it when it happens,] time jumps and place jumps.

Action sequences: there are weapons being used [for one example the audience sees these characters standing around in this circle formation with their guns drawn and pointing at different characters, the only characters that don't have a gun is a wife and a daughter, in a nutshell it is a case of the first character to blink or to think of something to get out of this situation or the first character to make a move is going to begin the carnage.

Performances: this cast all put in good performances, the role reversal has been very well managed [that is as much as I can tell you, because that is a major point to this title,] the chemistry between Travolta and Cage is a big element to this film, where one character will go to any lengths to get the other and the other character will do anything to mess with the other's life more than what he has already or to put himself in a situation of power.

This film receives: 8/10, now let's put it to one side that I have seen this film too many times throughout the years, [briefly all I am saying is someone with a fresh pair of eyes would get more enjoyment out of this title,] but from an unbiased perspective a 7 would be too low an 8 is fair.
