Review Time: this project is mixed.
Fundamental
elements; there are time jumps and place jumps,
slow-motion effects, quick moving effects I think [I could be wrong about this]
and it has to be said this film isn't the most quickest of films I have ever
seen.
Action sequences: they range from combat sequences to weapons being used, to a bus
being used somehow, I know how it is just I am not saying and things happening
outside the train or to the train itself, basically the action sequences give
this project value.
Performances: I don't know what to say here really, because these performances do
the job, but having said that Liam Neeson as the lead character Michael
MacCauley does keep things going [without this performer this film would have
really struggled] and for those people that have seen this project yes I am
aware that this performer/character is the focal point of this title anyway,
but when you have a project that has been designed like this; you are going to
need a performer that knows how to handle these situations where in a nutshell
if you have a good project, this performer/character will be spending a lot of
time on screen, possibly working off other things or performers around him or
her. But on the other hand if you have a project which is poor or somewhere
around here, more often than not this performer/character will be carrying the
project in question or at the very least it will feel like it at every stage or
something to that effect.
This film receives: 4/10, now after taking everything into consideration this mark feels right,
but let's try to finish this review on a positive, if you are a fan of Liam
Neeson take a look at this title.
