Review Time: this project is good.
Fundamental
elements: there are either a word or words on screen or a
number [I cannot remember,] cultural elements, subtitles being used which
either are too quick on and off the screen or there are some occasions where
they may clash with the scene underneath them or they may not be used at all or
an interpreter will be used instead, background music, mental imagery of
different kinds, I think at some point there are slow-motion effects,
voice-over elements and time jumps and place jumps. The general movement
including the elements I have mentioned in this paragraph already [I should
just point out I could be wrong on some of these elements.] But my point is
this; this title does take some time to get going properly.
Action sequences; there are weapons being used and combat sequences.
Performances: briefly they all do the job, but now moving on to Statham and Buzek,
individually or together these two performers/characters do so much to keep
this film going until this title has got going properly, on top of that once
again individually or together these two performers/characters have strong
personality traits which without giving too much away showed themselves in
different ways, the chemistry between these two performers/characters is of a
high quality and it has been managed with care and attention in this title.
This film receives: 7/10, now if this project didn't have the performances that it does
[to be more specific Statham or Buzek, Statham and Buzek] it doesn't matter
which way you look at it this film would have really struggled, but as things
are this title does enough to get given this mark.
