Split 2016 by AverageMansReviews
Review Time: this film is excellent.
James McAvoy as many characters: now yes
usually I would break down different elements and discuss them, but in this
case I was thinking it would be better if I focused on this performer, let's
just say what I am saying here will make sense if you choose to watch this
project.
This performer
puts in a powerful performance as he is able to switch from one character to
the next character and so on within a seconds notice [I should just point out
and I am not going to say too much more than this on this topic, because that
would be a big element to the storyline,] all of these different people live in
this one body and one mind but they are very individual people.
Fundamental core: now generally
speaking to begin with first, this film is dark and it is slow but it has been
designed to be slow, but always doing something to move the film on in one way
or another. This is where things get slightly a little bit complicated, now
McAvoy creates a certain fundamental core himself on top of the first
fundamental core, from this perspective now let's say at some point you will
meet this young person [it is still McAvoy,] because this person is young his
fundamental core and other elements are built to highlight that this person is
young and everything that comes with being young, but when the audience meets
the other people, the fundamental core and other elements are built around them
and for them.
Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke: this
performer does a great job throughout this project and her character
developments/background gets well shown in this project, Betty Buckley as Dr.
Karen Fletcher does a good job as well.
This film receives: 83% approval, yes
this film is hard to explain when you are trying not to give too much away, but
then again I can just say this; you need to go and see this film.
