Transporter 3 2008 by AverageMansReviews
Review Time: this film project is generally speaking
consistently poor, but it does have one consistent positive element to it among
maybe other small positive elements.
Fundamental core/Flash thing: the fundamental core to this project
in a nutshell is a pain to watch, because the audience can see everything
coming, now including this flash thing to be honest with you I really, really,
really don't like this flash thing. Just for the record I don't know what to
call this thing other than what I am calling it.
Because for this
example let's say we have a car on a road in the distance and we have this
flash thing, so the car starts in the distance and every time you have this
flash thing the car gets closer [so it is something like this; the car moves a
little, flash, car moves a little bit more, flash and so on and so forth, but
much more quicker than what I have explained it.]
Sadly I am not
done with this element, because there is another way that this flash thing gets
used, it does get used to move the film from location to location or scene to
scene or in many other ways around this film title, all I can say is this; this
element to this project is consistent [consistently irritating.]
Action sequences/Storyline: the first thing I want to say is this;
yes the action-packed sequences are hard-hitting and in some cases there are
many weapons being used. But here's the problem the action sequences and the
storyline feel like a separate element when perhaps they should be a little bit
of fluency between these elements but here is how they are in this title.
You could be
watching a storyline element [yet you can easily say to yourself "Oh here
comes an action-packed sequence, we have our lead role getting surrounded by
these evildoers and when these evildoers get put down enough times that is the
end of the action-packed sequence and then we will continue with the
storyline."]
Now don't get me
wrong some of the action-packed sequences are interesting such as for an
example our lead role having to rescue himself and his car from sinking.
Subtitles: they are okay.
Jason Statham as Frank Martin: this
performer/character for me carries this project; he tries to make things interesting
and enjoyable. He does put a lot of energy into the action-packed sequences;
this film title would have struggled without him.
This film receives: 37% approval, now this percentage of
approval may seem a little bit high considering I haven't given this film than
most positive of reviews. But this percentage is to highlight how much Jason
Statham either carries this project or makes a positive impact on to it from
the time he enters until the closing credits.
