Predator 1987 by AverageMansReviews
Review Time: now I really like this film, but throughout this
project as the years roll on, I do wonder about some of these character
developments such as these; offloading heavy amounts of your bullets when you
cannot see your enemy is just a waste of time and obviously a waste of your
bullets, now if they had to waste some to pinpoint where there enemy is or was
that makes sense, but the amount of bullets these characters go through when
there is no need to, it just doesn't make any sense.
Storyline: for 90% of the time it makes sense [without saying too much,] flying
off into the distance ["What is all that about?"] I mean it would
make better sense to either blow up the whole area so, people can deny that
this place is real or these events actually took place or cover up the whole
area or something like these two options.
Action sequences: now for two minutes let's put to one
side that these characters use so, so many bullets throughout this project,
these sequences are entertaining especially when the audience has the lead
character taking on this Predator it's like man using nature in one way or
another versus this highly dangerous Predator which has a very high skill level
of hunt, destruction and death.
Predator's vision: this element is an interesting way to
put over to your audiences what kind of creature/alien the people of Earth are
up against and how this character sees and potentially assesses things.
This film receives: 77% approval, the cast all put in good performances;
basically this is one of those occasions where you know what you get from this
film title which is an legendary character with a decent storyline for the most
part and action, action and more action.
