He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 8] Episode 44:
The Region of Ice by AverageMansReviews
Review Time: simply put there is just way too much of Orko in
this episode for me.
Artistic visions/Action sequences: now I have
decided to put these two elements together in this review, because they are in
the same place roughly, meaning at some points in this adventure we get to see
some absolutely amazing close-up and personal sequences involving Snake
Mountain [where we could see He-Man including Orko,] on the top of the head of
the Snake [looking down and watching what is happening below] or there are some
other sequences where He-Man, including another character and Orko are trying
to get out of this mouth of Snake Mountain [He-Man has to try and push it up to
open it.]
Trap Jaw vs. He-Man [including Orko:] yes I
am very much aware I keep mentioning Orko, but this is to highlight how much
the audience gets to see this very, very annoying character in this episode.
But putting that to one side for a minute, this action-packed sequence is
entertaining especially when Trap Jaw ends up hanging outside Snake Mountain's
mouth.
Ending message: is something to the effect of keep your promises.
This episode receives: 52% approval, now don't get me wrong
there are some good things about this episode, but because there is too much of
Orko, he makes it quite difficult to enjoy this episode it's like this
["Look there is a good element, but wait there's Orko, oh look there's
another good element, but wait there's more of Orko"] and so on and so
forth.
