Average Extra of: Baldoni fighting allegations, whilst Lively & Reynolds at SNL 50th Anniversary 2025 by AverageMansReviews
Heavy
Warning: there will be censored adult
language references, I will be brutally honest in this content, neither am I
defending this individual, but I am also not getting out my pitchfork, so you
have been warned from the outset.
Real Talking Time:
Let's be honest with one another
this situation is completely bull-shish kebab: you see whilst doing a little bit of research [turning
to a lot of research] for this content, there is one thing that I keep coming
back to and there is: something doesn't smell right? And if something doesn't
smell right or add up and then make sense consequently it is a fabrication.
Because
there has been a lot happening in situation I have chosen to simplify things,
because as you can imagine if you go down this rabbit hole it is surprisingly
deep. So as you can imagine I have many questions such as:
Like
if Justin Baldoni and others were unprofessional and worse allegedly why didn't
Blake Lively and allegedly others walkoff set and refused to work under these
conditions? I don't care if she is contracted to this project or not if she
or/and others felt this way, make a stand and say screw the money, I mean if
they felt that strongly you can always sue so you can get some money.
Why
did it take Lively until sometime in December 2024 to file this case of alleged
sexual harassment? If she has been in distress over this situation why Oh why
was her husband Ryan Reynolds [with her sitting next to him in the audience at
SNL - Saturday Night Live: a legendary comedy show at its 50th anniversary: Sunday
16/02/2025 basically going: everything is great why what have you heard? Then
moving on to another gag,] as to make light of their current/her current case.
The only comical thing about this is as someone else has pointed out as well of
me; if you come across this clip and you find a clip involving Kevin Costner
[he is also sitting in the audience in close proximity to Cher] all I am going
to say is: penny for your thoughts Kevin? Because he just looks really urinated
off about something that is all I am going to say because I don't want to bring
him into it as well, but you can clearly see he is far from a happy bunny.
My opinion on this
situation/speculation mixed with a little bit of fact: as you can clearly see as I am incredibly streetsmart,
something doesn't add up and if something doesn't add up the chances of it
being made out of something very tiny and insignificant which has been
misinterpreted or we must be open to the idea that it has been deliberately
interpreted as alleged unwanted behaviour for either public image or/and
financial gain must be on the table.
So
does anyone else find it weird that Lively waited until sometime in December
2024 to file this case? I mean she could have done it at any time, but she
waited until December. I mean it isn't because the project It Ends with Us 2024
[which I should very quickly add: is also based around domestic abuse, which I
also have to say is convenient, so you are working on a film about domestic
violence and now you're claiming alleged sexual harassment: I am just putting
it out there, that wires could easily get crossed and just for the record no I
haven't seen the film and I am very unlikely to see it based on my strongest
disdain for genuine abuse of any kind.]
But I
digress: so this film gets released and sometime in August of 2024, it does
incredibly well from the budget of $25 million it makes $351 million. Love me
or hate me I don't give a fudge, but I will be completely honest with you based
on my opinion yet again; why Oh why would it benefit Lively to not to sue
Baldoni before she did? Well it is obvious; she would be damaging her own film
which she had a very hefty payout of $3 million including producer which it has
been indicated topped up her $3 million, so she has a financial incentive not
to sue before she did and it is worthwhile mentioning and before I continue I
will say this twice; I am not saying this is the case here, I am not saying
this is the case here. But you can have all kinds of different contracts; for
an example; contracted to do multiple films or for another example in some
cases a percentage of the box office or merchandise sales or producer as I have
already shown, so it depends how her contract was structured.
Because
of their appearance on SNL the indications is they are probably lost this case,
because as I understand it; it isn't the most strongest of cases to begin with
and basically they needed to show a united front. To be honest again; I find it
to be in bad taste that Lively, 37 and Reynolds, 48 feel it is acceptable to
mock anything to do with unwanted sexual practices and because I have been
around films and TV for many years, I agree with the sentiment that SNL aren't
going to care about this comedy skit, because all they are interested in is TV
ratings and word of mouth, so from SNL's objective achieved, because people are
still talking about it.
What are Marvel going to do?: Now in fairness and balance this should now cause
Marvel Studios a headache, because hypothetically if they wanted Ryan Reynolds
to comeback as Wade Wilson/Deadpool what are they going to do now? Because on
one hand if he does come back Marvel Studios need him more than he needs them,
because let's be clear Wilson/Deadpool is still/well before this still a
financial asset and even if they did want to bring Ladypool back into it they
would even be forced based on she was voiced by Lively and I don't see Reynolds
being exactly thrilled to have her recast as things are. On the other hand how
they dealt with Jonathan Majors/Kang the Conqueror: I know these two situations
are very different, but my point being they are still around at minimum
unwanted behaviours cases either directly or indirectly and let's put it this
way if I can make it loose connection between unwanted behaviour and then unwanted
behaviour, someone that doesn't like Marvel Studios is going to see the double
standards regardless of as I have already indicated very different situations.
Lively
& Reynolds have no case: I have been spending a little bit of today looking
at other people's content where they all resoundingly say these two individuals
don't have a case against Baldoni, I mean allegedly all they have is some
screenshots of people saying bad things, but as I understand it there is a
counter lawsuit from Baldoni defamation of character.
Finally we come to the heart of the
subject: now if you know me or have been
following me long enough; you know full well I hate this kind of shish kebab,
where in this case Lively has seemingly engineered this whole situation, where
hypothetically she and others allegedly could have done something much sooner,
but didn't because that would more than likely doomed her own film [The End of
Us 2024,] but she waited between sometime August to December 2024 to take legal
action over seemingly nothing as in nothing can be proved minus the equivalent
of hearsay and apparently some words on screen from a social network platform,
which is not proof in her case. But Lively being 37 years old is very much
aware of the world around her meaning #Metoo and all of this.
So as
it relates to this average man working on this content; when are we going to
take this power away from people that clearly using the current climate to
their advantage to destroy or attempt to destroy another individual, when
thanks to the people like Amber Heard and now Blake Lively it makes people that
generally get either sexually harassed or worse hard to come forward and as a
man with a disability and a mental health illness on top, I am getting fed up
to my back teeth women putting me through the ringer because people like Heard
and Lively have empowered them, to essentially to crush man and consequently
they can do what the hell they fudgin' like whenever they like, if I slightly
step out of line or not either way I am going to get it in the neck and the
funny thing is I have people asking me why don't you go on dating sites, I
don't like paying someone for my unhappiness and as soon as they find out I am
less than perfect I get ghosted.
But I
digress; until we say enough is enough if you want equality fine, but it does
come with responsibilities and restrictions. But then again let's be honest of
what I have seen and experienced over these modern times, nothing will change
in a positive way, because broadly speaking most people in a dominating
position are reluctant to give up their power even though they may cry for
equality, that is not what they really want, they just want more rights,
privileges and acceptance for their outlook, behavioural patterns and many
other aspects, so this may just be the recent case, but trust me when I say it
won't be the last.
