Reactionary To The Wrestling News of: Rey Fénix and Contract with AEW 2024 by AverageMansReviews

Let's just say it as it is: either way Tony Khan can't win, he was to allow Fénix to go to the WWE at this moment in time, let's be honest TK would look like a very soft touch, which let's not forget he has also been criticised for being a soft touch on any other subject really. To be honest if I had paid a lot of money for talent and they were out for a long time altogether, then I would want to get my money's worth.

I myself am really not keen on this method of adding time on to talent contracts, in fact I have criticised the WWE for doing it for years. But TK is now in a very difficult situation, there are allegations such as for an example TK he heard that The Lucha Brothers: The tag team of Rey Fénix and Penta El Zero Miedo were heading to the WWE in fact his brother El Zero has signed with the WWE and apparently needed to essentially make an example of Fénix, because he was concerned about other talent finding any easy way out, essentially doing something like Fénix, which I kind of get it, I don't like it but if this is true I get it a little, but that doesn't make it right and I am not condoning it just before I receive any criticism saying it [I should also point out that Dr Weatherstone PhD has I am paraphrasing/in a nutshell has denied TK's reasoning and there is a huge story here and it is a injustice with Fénix agreeing but due to his contract he can't speak now.] He followed up with essentially no one is going to stay receiving inhumane treatment, I needed a doctor and he was ignored by TK for months. [I do have a feeling that this correspondence has been removed, but however I did find something that at the very least indicates issues Fénix replying to a fan says and I quote “I will have my chance to speak the truth." He was responding to this post " AEW not using Rey Fenix is fudgin' WRONG! Angry face emoji[yes I have censored one word] WWE sells out almost every arena they go to. They're doing the best business they ever have. WTH does Tony Khan think will happen if the Lucha Bros go there?

WWE isn't being hurt by this AT ALL! The only one being affected is Fenix, and he's the most innocent party in all of this.

But now from an outsider's perspective; I would strongly recommend caution to TK, I would recommend that if he wants to play hardball that I am not a business man, but I am logical so if Fénix wants to go let him go, but he does he has to sign a NDA [Non-Disclosure Agreements.]

Because by the sounds of it and I am quietly confident of what I have heard from other content creators that this situation/saga is probably going to get really, really ugly, so as I have just shown at least my way everyone involved gets a draw from this situation and everyone can move on. Because if this situation escalates and does in fact get ugly TK and AEW could really do without the negative press that this saga will inevitably generate and based on current knowledge this would look bad for TK and AEW as Fénix would just make it to the WWE and rebuild/continue this career with his brother anyway: it just depends how much egg TK wants on his face before everything is said and done.
