Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WCW World War 3 1995 26/11/1995 Match 1 Part 1 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!
On
rotation: after this pay-per-view we are
heading into the universe of the WWE
Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful
effects/shooting/burning [in a interview segment]
Basic walk-through of this event:
*
Opening sequence to this pay-per-view: roughly; warning flashing effects can be
seen at some point in this opening.
* Tony
Schiavone & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel"
Commentary: welcome us and talk about what they have on tonight, Schiavone
giving us a list of Commentators [which this will become useful in the main
event tonight as we have 3 rings to keep an eye on and on for them, of course
earlier on in the night we have Mike Tenay with the Women's Tag Team Match;
Mayumi Ozaki & Cutie Suzuki vs. Bull Nakano & Akira Hokuto [with Sonny
Onoo] and Interviewers. Then we go back to both of them talking about tonight's
main event, Schiavone giving us a rundown of the matches and then advertising
with it coming on CompServe; Tenay and the wrestlers from tonight's matches
with both of the commentators back on-screen.
*
"Mean" Gene Okerlund: Interviewer Hulk Hogan, Sting and "Macho
Man" Randy Savage, about what has been happening with Hogan and tonight's
pay-per-view. This is where the burning takes place Hogan goes to burn things,
but however wouldn't say things go wrong here, but as the rest of this
interview segment goes on the viewers can sense and see at minimum, something
has possibly which yes I could be completely wrong about this but something has
happened here that possibly didn't happen in rehearsals, because at one point
Sting possibly salt onto this fire, so it is slightly comical based on the
grounds that everyone is trying to keep this segment going whilst there is this
fire in this bin.
Okerlund
sends us to watch two video packages that have been joined together based
around our first match of the night
*
David Penzer: Ring announcer says the stipulations and then introduces the
competitors.
Match/Stipulations: Diamond Dallas Page [with "The Diamond Doll"
Kimberly] vs. the WCW World Television Champion Johnny B. Badd; Singles Match
for the WCW World Television Championship and the winner receives the services
of "The Diamond Doll" Kimberly

Comments: this
is a solidly good and lively opening to this pay-per-view; it pumps up the
crowd for rest of the pay-per-view. But then again I should just point out that
based on how this crowd has been so far, it is one of those crowds that as long
as you don't give them a reason to turn on this event, then they will be here
for the card and whatever else this pay-per-view has to offer, so in a nutshell
I am hoping they don't mess it up, but to cover my back in the future a little
bit I should imagine at some point this crowd might burn themselves out a
little or at minimum take the opportunity to brave and rest.
Basic Result: Johnny B. Badd
retains the WCW World Television Champion and wins the services of "The
Diamond Doll" Kimberly.
Basic walk-through of this event:
*
Tony Schiavone & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel":
Commentary talk about what they had just seen over video replays with
"He's A Bad Man" Johnny B. Badd's theme music "Don't mess with
Johnny B. Badd [with Torn.]
*
"Mean" Gene Okerlund: is waiting at the top of the ramp to talk to
the WCW World Television Champion Badd and "The Diamond Doll"
Kimberly
Okerlund
before interviewing he advertises the WCW Hotline, details on-screen with Tenay; with a massive
bombshell, and for those people that lived through this time no this was
genuinely a massive bombshell. I mean we kind of knew it for years before this
anyway, but it was now confirmed the WWF/WWE drug scandal and not forgetting
the results of tonight's pay-per-view with.
The
WCW World Television Champion Badd and "The Diamond Doll" Kimberly;
talks about the victory and releasing Kimberly from DDP and giving her some
time to think about working for him and building up to tonight's main event.
*
David Penzer: Ring announcer says the stipulations and then introduces the
competitors, I should point out that he doesn't get all of this out as Jim
Duggan attacks Big Bubba Rogers; match/match slot starts, but strangely enough
we don't get a bell ringing to begin it officially or maybe this referee has
just forgotten that small detail and just for the record I have no idea who
this referee is I know what Randy Anderson and Nick Patrick look like those are
the only two names I didn't find on a website and it isn't them or I am at
least 95% sure it isn't them, but who knows I could be wrong.
