Review Time

Warning: there is colourful effects/flashing effects/white supremacy

This music video is done by Dan Aykroyd and Tom Hanks: City of Crime NCR Records: it roughly goes on for over 3 minutes; this music video is also the soundtrack for this film Dragnet 1987 Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2022/06/dragnet-1987-by-averagemansreviews.html so obviously this music track and video is basically a very miniature version of this film. The backdrop to this music video is the LAPD with the interpretation of a theatre production, which it does look and feel like that for an example; the scenery gets pulled up to reveal different scenery or something else.

I can really appreciate the artistic idea, including the choreography and of course seeing/hearing Sergeant Joe Friday [Dan Ackroyd] with his new partner Detective Pep Streebek [Tom Hanks] rapping has to be a once in a lifetime experience; they do a good job, I mean you have to like their energy for it and Glenn V. Hughes III [Pagan.]

This film receives: 8/10, this is excellent; because I come from this generation I can remember how music videos used to be partly fun and consequently seeing these two actors rapping and dancing to be enjoyable for what it is which is a laugh and once you have seen it, it is one of those kind of things that at minimum you will never completely forget.
