Time
Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful
effects/character on fire
Storyline: this project only goes on for 5 minutes, to
put a little bit more substance in this Review/Blog I will just say this;
McKeen/Parker is going to see and experience things that she is completely
unprepared for as is unaware she is now entering the house of The Incredibles
family. Storyline and pacing are good; you know it has a story to tell and just
gets on with it; without giving too much away the ending makes sense it has
gone with the ending style of we are meant to have no recollection of these
events or the content of this project is well; yes this will make crystal clear
sense when you come to watch this project.
Characters/Action/Art/Comedy/Performances: including the on-screen chemistry these all
go hand-in-hand in one way or another. Now Jack-Jack Parrs/Fucile [the Parrs
family/The Incredibles family] is just acting like a normal baby; you know
being a handful and getting into everything, but these potential risks to him
including everyone and everything become incalculable based on his multitude of
gifts/abilities/powers so for one example McKeen/Parker is spending some time
educating Jack-Jack/Fucile with some picture cards and McKeen/Parker shows him
a picture of a campfire and says it on top; Jack-Jack/Fucile seems to partially
understand what McKeen/Parker has said by momentarily softly straining and
holding his breath a little [I should imagine it is the equivalent to a human
baby without gifs/abilities/powers trying to do a Number 2 in their diaper;
with the sense of concentration, straining and relief followed by happiness;
who knows he may have done one as well; two birds one stone that kind of thing]
to basically flame on like Marvel's Johnny Storm/Human Torch without saying
Flame-On!" Because Jack-Jack/Fucile is only a baby, so obviously he
doesn't know how dangerous he is when McKeen/Parker panics and hastily picks up
these fireplace tongs [with them getting tangled with the other fireplace
accessories first] and then she quickly runs after Jack-Jack/Fucile around the
living room; with Jack-Jack/Fucile thinking and acting as if she is playing;
the viewers can tell that Jack-Jack/Fucile is just having lots of fun [with
seeing have been facial expressions; smile and happy eyes through the flames,
you won't see his face and happy baby sounds.]
But on the other hand McKeen/Parker
is may need a change of underwear after this experience as she gets hold of
Jack-Jack/Fucile with these fireplace tongs and frantically takes him to the
Bathroom and in short sees there is the bath with some water in it and dunks
him in consequently there is a lot of steam whilst this is happening for some
strange reason she says "Good baby, nice baby." I am at to understand
she is around at most her early teens. But the more times I hear this [just
make sure I quote it correctly,] the more I just don't like it.
Just because he has been nothing but
a good sweet baby to begin with and throughout, he is just a bundle of
mischief, enthusiasm and happiness which doesn't know how potentially gifted or
powerful he could become; the voice performances are all good.
This film receives: 7/10, this film is good; it has many little
things to offer its viewers in a short amount of time and it has either Won an
Award; DVD Exclusive Awards 2006; DVDX Award; Best New Movie Scenes
[Finished-Edited Into Movie or Stand-Alone] or been Nominated for an Award Hugo
Awards 2006 Best Dramatic Presentation - Short Form.
