Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures [Season 2,] Episode 20: Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure in Babysitting by AverageMansReviews
Review Time:
4 things about this episode
Warning: there are flashing effects/other effects
Storyline: it is good.
Parody elements of The Sound of Music the 1965 film: now full disclosure I have never seen this film and I only know
Maria/Julie Andrews carries a guitar in a guitar case just based on what I've
seen online just now [when this blog/review was being dictated.]
But moving
on now to the reason why I have said all of this; we see scenes of this film on
TV at the time; including Andrews as Marie being brought from this
landscape/scene into 1975 to babysit baby Bill & baby Ted as she is singing
and playing this electric guitar and there is a little bit more when Bill &
Ted drop her back into this film as they almost forget to take the electric
guitar off her; they have to quickly return to quickly take the electric guitar
off her. So we have good art be it visually or sound/musically and good comedy
is well going to hand-in-hand here.
This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good; it does have something good to offer its
viewers in one way or another and just to finish off here; even though I have
never seen The Sound of Music [1965] film let's just say it's one of those
films providing they used the well-known scenes including if you have an
interest in films and you have been doing this kind of thing as long as I have
you; you should know a good percentage of the well-known scenes from films.
