Average Extra of: Masters of The Universe – Official Teaser Trailer 2026: My Reaction by AverageMansReviews
Real Talking Time:
Warning: broadly speaking the trailers for this movie will have mature
content/themes within them and yes they will be some censored adult language
references as well.
My
reaction: I am just finished watching this film trailer which is the
145 seconds one, which this content is based on, I have so many concerning
questions: like originally I thought his name plack had Adam Glenn/He-Man on
it: I was okay the is a bit on the nail, then I looked online than what it
actually said was He/Him, so I don't know if this has been done genuinely
reflect Earth at this time or some kind of mocking attempt or just to you
urinate the fan base off whatever the case may be it isn't a great look/start.
I hope we don't spend too
much time on Earth? I get the story outlay and it is an interesting
interpretation as well so I am on board with it, but at the same time I do get
the feeling that if we spent too long here, it is possibly going to run the
risk of getting tiresome, I mean hopefully and if they are smart this is where Adam/He-Man learns his humanity traits from, so it acts as character developments as well as storyline and are we getting a talking Cringer/Battle Cat? I
know Prince Adam Glenn/He-Man [Nicholas Galitzine:] he is a human resources
guy, meant for better things; he made reference to talking cats in this trailer
and do we really have to have at some point or another slow motion effects
action sequences? Because if you have been following me long enough, I would
have made reference to the fact that thanks to early 2000's broadly speaking
running this particular style to death, I can't stand it because I just see it
as cheap, tacky and uninspiring manure nowadays, I mean unless they have found
a way to update it somehow, which I doubt it, because it would have been done
by now.
My biggest concerns by
far is Jared Leto as Keldor/Skeletor: he is one of the biggest threats to peace
on Eternia and half brother to King Randor: are they going to do any exposition
on how Skeletor came to be Skeletor or/and Hordak [even though I haven't seen
this film yet obviously: I just want to point out to be fair and balanced I
will take references to him.] I have a really bad feeling that when Leto as
Skeletor communicates this whole ominous presence they have given him will melt
away instantaneously, which it has to be said I am not completely sold on Skeletor's
presentation either, his body and head/face in certain scenes looks much better
than others close-up; looks like the work of art, but further away not so much
and then on top of that before I continue I need to point out also that this is
nothing personal, but nonetheless it is an unwanted track record that Leto's track record at the box office is way
more flops than worldwide successes especially over more recent times, I mean
you have to go all the way back until House of Gucci 2021 to find the last film
he was connected to as Paolo Gucci to find his last project that was deemed to
be a financial success.
Let's be positive for two
minutes: Eternia looks majestically fantastic what with the scenery,
landscapes, costumes and etc, be in artistic or/and action wise; they really
seem to have an idea of how they wanted everything to be presented and how
things should be on everything we experience in this trailer minus my concernsAnd I do hope we get a moral message extra scene in the closing credits: so what did we learn from this film?... As well as another extra scene implying a sequel.
My prediction for this
film: 6/10, based on here and now I think the assets of this movie will paint
over the cracks of the shortcomings of this movie, so hence why I went for
6/10, but I want to be proven wrong here and comfortably so, I will stand by
the mark I have already chosen, but hypothetically and for an reasonable expectation
should be heading for anywhere north of 7/10 with ease, But I can’t stress this
enough I think the potential negatives of this movie are going to financially
cost them dearly, such as for a quick example the pronoun thing, there was no
positive outcome putting this reference in this movie; I mean on one hand some
of your audience members can now say it that; this film is woke and potentially
not go to the cinema or on the other hand some of the people are going to find
this offensive; as they may feel that this film is having a joke at their
expense; either way potentially you have just cost yourself this section of butts
not being in seats; so smart move there, you bunch of geniuses and for those
that are unable to pick up on sarcasm I am being incredibly sarcastic here; and
here was me thinking Hollywood would have learned this expression by now “You
go woke, you go broke” but obviously they haven’t learnt enough yet, with this
virtual signalling manure, so hopefully
this doesn’t cost them the difference between making a sequel/franchise or not.
