Average Extra of: "IT'S NOT MY MOVIE!" Prince Naseem Hamed REVEALS TRUTH about his involvement in GIANT via talkSPORT Boxing 09/01/2026 by AverageMansReviews

Real Talking Time:

Warning: at this point if you have been with me long enough you should know by now there will be at one point or another censored adult language at one point or another in this content and I will warn you from the very beginning

I wasn't planning on producing this content: but when I saw a little bit here and a little bit there and Prince Naseem Hamed basically saying it isn't my movie, then I changed my mind, so full disclosure this content is going to be a broad perspective and just for the record I think Prince Naseem Hamed is a complete penis, [for the younger generations: if you deem this to be possibly racial, because I know some of you think this way, it is nothing to do with his ethnic background, as I tried to explain to the younger generations when it is appropriate, you can still be a complete penis and it just so happens to be that you come from a different ethnic background: in a nutshell being a complete penis does not discriminate] and I won't be going to see this film.

Things I picked up from this interview:

1. I am going to start with no I'm not going to make any cheap remarks about his physical appearance.

2. I have to confess there is a strange atmosphere even though I haven't seen it all yet there is a really strange atmosphere with this interview, where at any point the Prince could go off on one, if you don't appease him so the interview has to be done walking on eggshells: so my hat goes off to the interviewer being diplomatic.

3. The Prince very quickly shoots down that this film is about him, instead going for it is more about his trainer: Brendan Ingle; where the Prince softly argues who is the star of the movie? And just before this you could tell it was going to be one of those interviews when the Prince says the interviewer to get it right, so to save me some time and do some reading let's call it as it is; the Prince is going to argue on some level on every single point in this interview so that I don't have to repeat myself, but I digress; the Prince says Pierce Brosnan is the star of the film, that is James Bond right there [as Brendan Ingle] and how spot on he was in this performance. Personally I think the Prince inadvertently or more than likely potentially tried to sink this film [as you will see I will have more evidence to support this theory in due course.] They go on to talk about how Brosnan learnt about his role.

4. The Prince almost happily announces he has had nothing to do with this film, that he was brought on board to be a part of the advertising and promotion of this film. Where in a nutshell again it will years ago, this is where the talk about the film stopping and starting due to global pandemic, where the Prince makes a slight joke about him bringing out his own movie before this, but he wasn't in time. But it is better to back it and supported and then down the line will be the springboard for my project documentary series with Mark Wahlberg. [I fully knowledge he says he supports it and so on and so forth, but this is where I would like, but are you really supported it? Or are as you have just admitted are you more interested in using this project to further your own ambition?]

5. Sylvester Stallone executive producer? They switched the focus back to this film, where I have to confess and I'm not making a mountain out of a mole hill, but this is where things subtly yet quickly escalated to the point where you have to go Wow what the hell is going on here? As the Prince clearly has a problem with this as the Prince believes adamantly by his body language and all-round presence that this is by name only and even when he is present with the fact that Stallone is definitely connected to this project he goes with the narrative of a century; we will have to agree to disagree. I will say there is; what is wrong Prince is it because your coach that is no longer with us finally sticks it to you, to have the icon of boxing filming history connected to his film in the one and only Sylvester Stallone, I mean if the Prince has grown up in any way shape or form he would have let this go and I know it is weird considering as I have already indicated he isn't here any more, but to allow Ingle to have this moment in the sun [before I move on I should just point out that the Prince did point out if Stallone was connected to his project he would be basically happy.]

6. The Prince shows his true colours and broadly discredits this movie by bringing into question the authenticity of this content of this movie, but when he brings out his own project it will be 100% real: this is an absolute disgrace to see the Prince at the age of 51 as of this content first being created; still an immature moron.

7. The Prince goes into full discredit mode as he gets asked about the history between him and his coach; he talks about at the age of 7 years old learning essentially the fundamentals of boxing and he puts that down thanks to Ingle. But he goes on to stroke his ego by indicating from 7-11 years old I was already boxing professionals were they went on to win and spending a lot of time together, incoming discrediting for his coach Ingle it was all money oriented and talking about his previous boxers [ the Prince brings up the alleged allegation of Ingle: when he was 11 years old, he made a verbal contract that said that when the Prince made his first £40 million he was going to give Ingle £10 million.] That's right Prince keep it classy discrediting the dead person just the record if it is true or not I would absolutely give someone that gave me the opportunity to make £40 million, £10 million of that, the Prince goes on to state I am not here to tear him down [that's funny cause that is what you have been doing in every opportunity in his interview so far,] but he continues we still had an amazing relationship, but he wanted some ridiculous money, when it doesn't work like that, once your earnings ridiculous money at the top. When the whole thing was falling apart he was the highest paid trainer in the world, I was paying him more than any other trainer, especially in the 90s, but sometimes it is never enough, is it, never enough for some people.

8. This is where the wheels really came off in his interview as the Prince was asked are you happy how your relationship is portrayed in this movie? Where he replies obviously not. Look I have backed the movie for a reason; few reasons: one of the reasons is; the director Rowan [Rowan Athale] is a really nice guy, he has always wanted to make a movie about me, but nothing involvement in my eyes the way they were able to make this movie because I heard they bought rights of books; I am paraphrasing here he basically goes on to discredit the books and if you have the right you can make a movie about the film no one can stop you [it would have been nice if someone or anyone just stopped the Prince from talking, because I referenced it earlier it is so fudgin' shameful and embarrassing to see it a 51-year-old essentially discredit someone that is dead and consequently can't fight back.] But he continues; for the love of God and I can't say this enough someone just stop him he goes on to discredit the director where he says that I am not going to say that the thing was completely made up because it is a good watch, it and I am paraphrasing here basically takes you through stages and I congratulated the director as the final sequence I just wish it was like it in reality.

Just to finished this content off; all this interview does is reinforce my dislike for the Prince as yet again he turns this moment more or less on to about himself and no I'm not surprised by this; I mean he could have come out and said whatever has happened between me and Brendan that is in the past, I am just here to celebrate his life, because without him I would have nothing, so let's talk about this movie... it's great, it incorporates the basic stages of my career and yes I have already seen in, it is a well shot movie and I recommend everyone to go and see it. Basically the Prince should have done the PR thing for Brendan and himself, to stop carrying that animosity that he clearly still has for someone that is dead, but he had the chance and blew it: I mean he just had to remind us all what a small petty man he was, I have seen another clip of another interview where he uses the same tactic of I am paraphrasing here I'm not going to disrespect Brendan and then goes on to actually disrespecting by repeating this story about him being 11 or 12 and this £10 million, I mean I don't know you out there in Internet land that to me that sounds like the Prince hasn't let anything go.
