Review Time: this film is good.

Warning: there is a scene of animal cruelty.

Fundamental elements: there are numbers and words on screen, cultural elements, background music, mental imagery, yes and no to subtitles being used when sign language is being used time jumps and place jumps.

Movement; it is solid, reliable and it knows what it is doing from beginning to end; I will discuss this more in the next section.

Storyline/Origin storyline: the storyline is good, but now I will discuss the movement and the storyline together. This project uses a situation to situation format which basically means for an example this film begins Day 89 after this Apocalypse hit the Earth or these creatures came to invade the Earth [I should just point out to cover my back this is just speculation on my part, because we meet these highly dangerous creatures at some point; but we never know what happened here.]

But back to what I was discussing this project rotates forward by using Day [insert number here,] but generally speaking this situation to situation format means we focus on here and now and beyond until another Day [insert number here] and nothing else. Because this film uses this format it makes sense to use a question-mark style ending for the ending but having said that it does have a good mixture between a question mark style ending and a round ending as in a good place to end this film as well [yes I know there is a sequel/Part 2 coming out at some point, meaning before the world went into isolation, it was being advertised in one way or another; the viewers get to see this origin storyline in this film as well. [On a quick side note I will leave the film review Green Room 2015, just because that film is a situation/location based film meaning in this case the film is designed to focus on everything in this situation/location but anything before this or after this is irrelevant, because the film is designed to focus on this situation/location and nothing more.]

Action sequences/Artistic visions/Comedy level: there are weapons being used, hunting and chasing; on to the artistic visions there is a rocket being drawn on the floor in coloured chalk, when you get away from the devastation and back to these quiet places including this waterfall these scenes capture your attention. Comedy level; does anyone else find this funny that the Earth has gone through this Apocalypse and yet the board game Monopoly still is being played and the other comedy element is where we have the Husband and Dad/character/performer signing to his wife "Beautiful" quickly followed up with "I know I don't say it enough." The joke being he isn't saying it.

Character developments/Performances: on both counts these are good, because there is very little in the way of talking [you will find out why this is when you watch this project,] so they use other means of communicating to one another; sign language, body language and facial expressions so likewise the chemistry/friction is good.

This film receives: 7/10, as I have already said this film is good; but if you are like me and you are dyslexic mixed in with not a strong reader anyway [yes just for the record I don't know if it is because I am dyslexic which makes me a not strong reader or if it is two separate things but whatever the case may be,] you may want to watch this film and this sequel on Blu-Ray or DVD or other services, if you have the technology to rewind and pause it. I will wait until this sequel becomes available after its cinema run, I should imagine and yes once again this is just speculation but at some point in the future they should do a prequel starting from Day 1 to Day 89, but then again it does usually depend on how the previous instalment does at the box office is depending if we get any more instalments or not.
